This stunning house with amazing space boasts a tranquil location and has beautiful views of the Suffolk countryside. It is ideally situated only three miles from the Suffolk Coast and the delightful village of Walberswick and five miles from the Edwardian coastal town of Southwold. It is just a half hour walk to The Queens Head at Bramfield which serves excellent food and the Two Magpies Bakery and Cafe is a five minute drive away. The house was designed by award-winning architect, James Gorst and has been built counter to the slope of the garden which elevates the living room to provide views over the surrounding fields. At the other end of the house, the master bedroom is cut into the hillside to give low views through the meadows. The interior is spacious and light and each of the huge picture windows create a tableau of vistas of beautiful trees and the surrounding countryside. There is a truly relaxing ambience throughout the house. The garden has been landscaped to create an attractive outside space with lawns and herbaceous planting, an orchard and wildflower meadow, together with garden furniture and BBQ. A wildlife pond has been created and both the pond and the garden are securely fenced for children and dogs. Accommodation: Entrance: Hall with cupboard for coats and boots; steps up to the fully open plan living area. The steps and floor throughout are slate. Kitchen area: Feature island unit with Iroko worktop, stainless steel kitchen sink, gas hob electric cooker, dishwasher and storage cupboards, Dualit toaster, kettle cafetiere, Nespresso Coffee Machine. Separate larder area with shelving, good storage and fridge with separate freezer. The ceiling is very high and all these elements combine to create a feeling of floating above the landscape. Dining area: Dining table and chairs for 10, bookshelves, china cupboard and desk and chair, leading through to the sitting area and two three seater leather sofas and one fabric three seater sofa, a raised dias on which the wood burner is located, TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player and Roberts radio, Bluetooth speaker, sideboard, coffee table and rugs. Glass sliding doors on to the terrace with table and chairs. Utility room: Washing machine and separate dryer, shelving for storage, coat rack hooks, clothers airer. Family Bathroom Bath with shower over and folding shower screen, handbasin and WC, large mirror, tiled floor. Bedroom 1: Spacious room with large windows, king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, floor lamps, wardrobe with shelves, seagrass floor covering. En-suite shower room with WC and hand basin, tiled floor.
