Known as 'The Chateau in the valley', Le Moulin is a romantic 15th century fortified, water mill on The Dropt river that winds through the valley of medieval Bastide villages. The original moulin was run by the Benedictine Monks until it's extension in the 15th century producing flour. Later, in the mid-eighteenth century, the maison de maitre was added on to the medieval stable, and a bread oven added to that at the time of the French Revolution so that the moulin could produce it's own bread. Le Moulin has been completely renovated sympathetically so as to retain as much of it's original character and features as possible. It has it's own walled garden for outside dining with bbq and firepit. The pool overlooks the river and 14th century bridge and waterfall and has a lounging pavilion...Known as 'The Chateau in the valley', Le Moulin is a romantic 15th century fortified, water mill on The Dropt river that winds through the valley of medieval Bastide villages.
