Wayne was very helpful and friendly and his place is adorable and well decorated, we like it very much. The village is also very beautiful and people are friendly. Loved the outside table where we ate most of our daytime meals. Thank you Wayne

Lovely property in a quaint village. We used this as a base for visiting family and it was perfect. Child friendly, even had games and puzzles in kids room which was ideal.
Fantastic little property hidden amongst the houses in a beautiful village. Super quiet, almost equal distance to Newark or Lincoln. Would stay here again.
Very enjoyable comfortable and cosy week at The Stocks. Convenient for Lincoln and surrounding area - Whisby Park a nice day out with children. We hope to return.
The barn is located in Wellingore Lincolnshire LN5 0HW which is adjoined to the lager village of Navenby with several shops including general store, a co-op open until 10pm daily, a butchers, bakers, serval takeaways, pubs, tea rooms antiques etc. Wellingore is 10 miles from Lincoln, 14 miles from Grantham, 10 miles from Sleaford and 14 miles from Newark. Newark like Lincoln, has a castle (ruins), waterfront and lots of independent shops. Easy access to the A1 & A46, A52, A17. Wellingore has 2 pubs with food, post office & garage. Local fishing and golf is available 10 miles away.
Many visitors head for Lincoln but Newark offers many independent shops and retailers, pubs, cafes, a waterfront and castle (in ruins), nearby aviation museum.
Getting around
Access to a car is advisable, but there is a bus stop within two minutes walk with buses to Lincoln and Grantham twice an hour. There is no bus service after about 8pm.
