The air is clean and clear, the fascinating tranquillity of the surrounding invite you to relax. The Villa may be reached from the main square of the Village in a few minutes by walking through an enchanting narrow road between medioeval walls and panoramic views. The Villa has a floor area of approx. 110 square meters with a garden, patio, and terrace and it is suitable for max six people. Every room has a splendid view over the green hills that surround Ravello and that plunge steeply to the sea. There are two bedrooms, two toilets, a sitting room, a dining area and a kitchen. The rooms are on three floors. The ground floor has a nice patio from where you can enter into the house and which also leads you into the garden. Wide arches not only offer shelter from the sun but also frame the enchanting panorama and enclose the patio. The patio is furnished with a table and sun loungers, so it can be used as an open-air dining area. From the patio you enter into the inside dining area and the kitchen. The kitchen is little but comfortable and is equipped with a cooker, an oven and a fridge/freezer. There is also a toilet with a shower. A stairway leads to the upper floor, where there is a spacious sitting room with a double bed settee (composed of two single bads, one of which pulls out) and a bedroom with two single beds. From the sitting room you enter out onto a splendid terrace, shaded by a pergola of wisteria, from where you can enjoy an extensive panorama. Here, there is also garden furniture for your relaxation. A spiral staircase takes you up from the sitting room to the double bedroom. The room has a vaulted ceiling, so the walls are quite low and the room is lit up by a window that looks out onto greenery. Beside this bedroom there is a toilet and shower. All the rooms have valley views. The house is kept cool in summer in a natural way. The furnishings are pleasing and welcoming, and are made up of bamboo furniture and a small collection of craft items. The small garden is rustic, with flowerbeds that grow not just flowers, but also basil, celery and vegetables. A lemon pergola shades a floored area and beside the pergola there is a barbecue and a brick, wood-burning, oven. More

Interaction with guests
The property has not parking space because it is located in the pedestrian area of Ravello (I suggest to park your car into the private parking area 'Parcheggio Al Ponte', just out of the village, that offers a complimentary valet service at price of Euro 15,00/day) This property is not recommended for very old people because the house extends on more levels and it is only reachable by a pedestrian road.

The most stunning view you can imagine. Very spacious house at an extremely fair price. I can't image a better location in Ravello. Very charming house with an authentic and personal atmosphere. Kitchen and comfort a bit old-school, but if you (as we) value the...More

About the neighbourhood
Ravello, located at the top of the Dragone Valley and in addition to proving many amazing views of the valleys and sea, contains some beautiful architecture. For many years Ravello has been charming visitors many of whom artists of all nnationalities. Some notable artist include Boccaccio, and Wagner.Ravello was founded by the Roman aristocracy in the 10th century and gained wealth and prominence through trade across the Mediterranean with wool and cotton. Part of the powerful Maritime Republic of Amalfi the Ravello continued to enjoy prosperity until the Norman domination. Ravello fall from importance was furthered even more with the Pisan invasion in 1337, which deprived the entire Amalfi Coast of its independence, and political power.Today Ravello has rediscovered its confidence and ide...
Getting around
The towns of Amalfi Coast are very steep, tumbling down the cliffside like life-sized Nativity scenes clinging to the mountainside, so finding parking space in such small steep villages can be a problem, specially during the week-ends. The Public Transport (SITA Bus Company) run between all the towns on the Amalfi Coast and it is very chip. From Ravello you can reach Amalfi by bus in about 20 minutes at price of only € 2,20. From Amalfi it's also possible to take the ferry to reach Positano, Capri and Sorrento (I suggest booking your ticket in advance, given the high number of passengers during the summer time).
