The area of the retreat Bela Natureza is large, and provides guests with countless opportunities to roam around, be at one with nature, collect mangoes, meditate, and even do yoga or light sports. . DOUBLE ROOM SUITE WITH PRIVATE TERRACE: For our guests we offer rental of a newly-restored double room suite with private terrace, named after a local singing bird Rió ("Curió"). The suite is equipped with modern facilities and internet access, making it suitable for those wishing to engage in creative pursuits such as taking a sabbatical, writing or painting. . Our double suite is located at the ground floor of our house. It has its own entrance, and a private terrace, where our guests can relax. The room is cozy; and comfortably accommodates 3 people, while it can be suitable for a family with two children as well, or a group of friends (up to 5 people). It is equipped with a double sofa bed, a single bed, a small couch, a coffee table, and two hammocks, which can be unfolded any time. Our room features a spacious private bathroom with a warm shower and a walk-in closet designed and made by local artisans. Wifi is available throughout, and there are plenty of accessible sockets for charging electrical appliances. . For all our guests, we prepare and offer complimentary continental breakfast with tasty regional goodies and tropical fruit. Moreover, all guests are welcome to use the refreshment area located at the site, and all common areas of the retreat, such as the swimming pool, meditation pavilion or hammocks amongst the mango trees. You will have the use of these spaces for most of the day, however, the holistic center occasionally runs healing courses or eco-workshops at which times some of them will be occupied. . Free parking is available at the property for our guests. Please let us know, if you are arriving by car. . Our guests will have the unique opportunity to interact with our many friendly and healthy dogs. The dogs are a great source of affection, relaxation and healing. They are an integral part of the retreat, and we hope that guests will be happy to spend time with them. We’re sure their doggy bliss will rub off on you! We would like to ensure a completely stress-free stay for the guests. The retreat area is vast, and being here feels like visiting a natural park with friendly dogs, mango trees, wild flowers, and pineapple plants. Sometimes you could spot little monkeys called “miquinhos”, and other small lively creatures. Guests will be able to feel comfortable and at ease, as the large natural area is only shared with our small team and a few other guests (up to 6 people). . The external refreshment area is surrounded by nature, and equipped with a microwave, a traditional clay oven, and a coffeemaker. A well-maintained swimming pool provides a soothing feel on a warm day. . Guests have a private entrance to the property, and the room can be securely locked. . Free wireless internet access is provided throughout the area. Sometimes the official internet provider is not working, in which case you can go to a nearby internet café in Arembepe. Some of these also have printers, scanners, and fax machines in addition to broadband internet service. My name is Evelyn. I was born in Germany and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have degrees in communication, arts, and environmental studies, and have lectured in these areas whilst in both countries. I live in my house at the retreat, and I am on-hand to provide assistance, if required. . I am also a certified tour guide for the state of Bahia, and can give you important tips about the region and its unique culture, including the city of Salvador. Furthermore, if you are interested in history, the environment and the local culture or the afro-brazilian religion ‘Candomblé’, I would be glad to share my knowledge with you, as well as the top places to enjoy local cuisine and the attractions you might like to visit. Our retreat Bela Natureza is situated in a secure condominium inside the small rural community of Coqueiro de Arembepe, rich in lush greenery, flowing with meandering riverside vegetation, and home to wild birds and small monkeys. The atmosphere here is friendly, and the dappled forests surrounding the village are perfect for long relaxing walks to gently unwind.

What an amazing experience

My stay at retreat Bela natureza has been amazing from start to finish. I'm sad to say bye to the wonderful dogs, wonderful host Evelyn and the lovely girls I have met here also. I've learnt so much about myself, nature and silence for my 5 day stay. The food was wonderful and the room was really comfortable and homely, I felt like I was in nature with the calming sounds of birds, the wind and rarely rainfall before bed. I would recommend to anyone wanting some time for themselves in this truely unique setting.

Unforgettable experience

I came to stay at Bela Natureza on their 5 day 'Smile' package which focuses on interacting with the dogs at the retreat. I had a wonderful 5 days not just getting to know and receiving love and affection from the 13 beautiful dogs, but also truly getting in touch with nature as the retreat is filled with tropical greenery and animals who sing throughout the day. Suite Corio was comfortable and spacious and the facilities at the retreat suited my needs perfectly. Thankyou Evelyn and Bela Natureza!

Amazing exoerience!

I've just spent 5 days at Retreat Bela Natureza experiencing their package "Smile" and had the most delightful time. I arrived there feeling stressed and exhausted and day-by-day, through deep contact with nature and their lovely family of dogs, I regained peace and quiet, inner silence and yes, my big smile! Observing dogs and sharing with them was a great experience: each one's personality, humor and attitude revealed a lot about myself. Meditating, reading, walking beside them helped me regain contact with my inner self, the main pourpose of this trip. Arembepe's beaches and town were also lovely, calm and beautiful. Small local restaurants offer great food and enviroment. Last but not least I was fortunate to be a part of a nice group guided by Evelyn, who was the person that received us and cared for us through these days, always supportive and caring. Be sure not to miss her amazing Crystal Bowls guided meditation!

Mejor imposible.

La cabaña Curio es perfecta. Bien fresca para dormir en las noches de calor, abajo tiene una salita con una mesa ideal para quien precise estudiar, escribir, ect. Y lugar suficiente para acomodar todo. Además una gran ventana donde puede entrar mucha luz. El baño es completo y cómodo. Realmente no precise nada más!

Paz, tranquilidad, Naturaleza.

Con un amplio terreno lleno de plantas y árboles frutales, sus cómodas y rústicas cabañas, su comida super saludable y natural, y lo mejor de todo, la compañía amorosa de Evelyn y todos sus perros, hacen de esta la combinación perfecta para los amantes de la naturaleza.

Loving dogs & beautiful nature

I stayed at this peaceful place for one week and adored it! The dogs were very friendly, so spending time with them was a relaxing and joyful experience. They each have their own unique and lovable personalities, you will miss them when you leave! I stayed in the suite attached to the owner, Evelyn's, house. It was quite spacious and comfortable, I felt very at home. The surrounding area is lush with trees and bushes making it the perfect place to unwind and connect with nature. There is also a lovely breakfast every morning with fresh fruit and bread from the nearby market. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Simply beautiful

We stayed almost one week at this beautiful place and loved it. The first moment you will arrive the place with its amazing natural park will welcome you with a big hug. The dogs are just incredible, for us it was the first experience with a family of dogs and we enjoyed it a lot. They are so friendly and welcoming and it is funny to see them together and as individuals. We stayed in a room in the house with big bathroom and own terrace and enjoyed it a lot surrounded by beautiful trees and greens. The hammock invites to relax and the park is beautiful place for meditation, yoga or whatever you like to relax and connect with yourself and nature. There are a lot of local supermarkets in walking distance where you can find any essential needs. The area is safe and remote. The centre of Arembepe is easy to reach by mototaxi or walking (35 minutes). Evelyn (the owner) is a very amazing and interesting person who is always available to help with anything you need or to provide information. She knows a lot about the local culture and people and loves to share. We would definitely come back!
