Sandy and I flew into Rome and where picked up and driven to Il Ghiottone. We were met by Thomas and Lizbeth and shown to our room. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable with a beautiful view. We had arranged prior to our arrival to have them prepare dinner for our first night since we had just flown in from Atlanta. We had dinner with a couple from Austria and had a incredible meal. During the conversation that evening we found out that the couple were doing a cooking class the next night and we were invited to join them. The next evening we started the hands on cooking class at 5pm and finished at 11pm, it was a great experience and left with 5 delicious recipes from the evening. Each morning we had a 4 course breakfast which was exceptional and was included in the price of the room. These three days were very special and would recommend this B&B to anyone who is planning to visit beautiful Umbria.
