Farmhouse and Mas disappointment and disaster - far from expectations
Such a disappointment - very tired and run down, needs more maintenance and maybe investment in better quality fittings and fixtures. Old pics look good and reviews 3 or 4 years old may reflect it then, but not now.
The owners refunded part of my payment after quite a battle and to avoid taking costly legal actions the owners paid me partly back. I asked if thet rented out the property if they would be kind enough to bridge my losses and pay a little more of what i had paid in good faith.
Anyway, they did rent out the houses and thought they would be honourable,but unfortunately they are not that type of people. Needless to say we lost a lot and regret not getting a proper update on the current condition of the house. Stupid of us, as was trusting what we saw was what were going to get.
Please double check to see if they have upgraded since our trip and only pay for what you get...its far from luxurious!

Amazing Rustic Farmhouse
My family and I, all 16 of us with ages ranging from 6 to 79 it was the perfect location.
We rented the cottage and the farmhouse for one week and have just returned.
Fabulous rustic bedrooms some with en-suite facilities was perfect. There kitchens were fully equipped and thank goodness a dishwasher. We especially loved the large balcony that house 2 BBQ’s that were used all week and seating for all 16 of us.
The pool area was a hit all round and a perfect size for afternoon games such as water volley ball and swimming races.
We paid a small amount for beach towels and they were good quality and well worth it.
When we arrived Paul and Annette met us and were very friendly and extremely accommodating. I dealt with them throughout the booking and Paul kindly recommended Coume Del Mas and what a fabulous recommendation it was.
All in all we had a fantastic time and the house felt spacious and homely with great support throughout from Paul and Annette who were first rate hosts from booking through to the end of our holiday.

We are pleased to hear that you found our properties perfect for your special occasion, and were able to make good use of all the facilities and amenities of the properties - including the pool and BBQs etc. Also glad that the Coume Del Mas vineyard in Banyuls sur Mer was a great day out. Perfect family holiday location
The location has stunning views, with the feeling of privacy yet within walking distance of amenities.
Beautiful accommodation with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The owners were nothing but helpful, accommodating and made the booking process very simple.
We will be booking again in the future.

Wonderful!
We enjoyed our time at the farm house very much. It was charming and comfortable and beautifully situated. The owners and their various contractors all took great care of the property and us. Couldn't ask for a better location with great things to do and see in adundance. I highly recommend it.

Great property in beautiful location
We had a fantastic time here exploring this lovely part of the world for a week. The house has everything it promised, and the great pool was even warmer than expected! The villages along the coast are well worth a visit, particularly Collioure, and the sea is suitable for all ages. A trip into Spain is a definite possibility, as is relaxing round the pool and short strolls into the village for coffee, drinks and dinner. Will hopefully be back one day!

It was a pleasure to have assisted you and your friends to have a wonderful holiday time at RoussillonFarmhouse in July. Its true - the pool temperature in late July is normally about 28c, when the ambient temperature is a tad higher. We are blessed to be only 20mins from Collioure - which is a spectacle of the Roussillon / south of France, and only about 30mins over the border to Figereas (famous by Salvador Dali). Hope to see you back again soon.

Perfect location
Excellent advice/ service from Paul and Annette and their team. Roomy farmhouse set on the edge of a peaceful friendly village and within a convenient distance to sandy beaches and lovely towns such as Céret and Collieure. Recommended for groups and families although a ‘newly crawling ‘ granddaughter had to be watched near the spiral staircase into the garden! We were glad of the safety gates provided. Lots of great restaurants within a short drive.

Tres Belle!!!
We were lucky enough to be invited to stay at this amazing property to celebrate a very special birthday. There were 25 of us staying in accommodation throughout the property consisting of the main farmhouse , a separate detached farmhouse, two cottages & a separate one bedroom annexe. There are 3 swimming pools spread across the accommadation. Each property is finished & furnished to the highest standards & fully equipped for your every need. The property is fantastic for large groups & families by booking the whole property or smaller groups or individuals by booking the cottages or annexe. The surrounding area is stunning with fantastic views to the mountains & The Med. It is only 15 mins by car to the coast where there is lots to see & do. There are some fantastic places to eat in the nearby local villages & surrounding areas. The Owners Paul & Annette are fantastic people who can't help you enough & are a source of information. If you get the opportunity to stay here you must as it is so beautiful.

Fabulous accommodation in rural South of France
What can we say ... recently had the pleasure to stay in these beautiful, character-filled cottages located in the small village of Villlelongue dels Monts. A group of us were there for a short, celebratory visit and had a fabulous time. The properties and views are absolutely stunning and full of rustic, French charm. Our itinerary took us to the beautiful port of nearby Argeles-Sur-Mer which boasts a gorgeous beach and we ate a delicious lunch at one of the lovely restaurants, L'Oasis. That evening we dined at nearby Chateau Valmy, a fine dining experience indeed. Another day we sailed the short boat trip from Port d'Argeles to Collioure which is a maze of tiny streets with lots of intriguing shops and a great market; restaurants with views of the sea are aplenty. Again, a short drive away, in the village of Laroque des Alberes, we visited a quaint, rustic bar, Cave Le Carignan and dined the following evening at restaurant Les Enfant Terribles, a superb Bistro in the heart of the village serving delicious French cuisine.
The accommodation lends itself to groups, large or small and is a quiet haven in which to relax and explore the beautiful area or just chill with family or friends. Just wonderful ...

Sounds like you had a great time and took every opportunity to visit most of the local places of interest - such as Argeles Sur Mer and Collioure - and various restaurants etc which are all within a 10 / 15 minutes drive (taxi) etc. Glad to hear you were able to take time to relax in between and chill out with your friends. Maison charmante entre mer,montagne et campagne
Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine entre amis avec enfants dans cette maison. Merci aux proprietaires pour leur grande réactivité dans les échanges et leur sens du service. La maison est grande, confortable, bien équipée. Nous avons aussi apprécié le jardin avec sa piscine. Il est préférable de se déplacer en voiture pour découvrir les alentours (balade en bord de mer à Argeles, Collioure, marché du samedi à Ceret, nombreuses activités sportives en montagne, entre autres). Nous recommandons vivement Mas den Porte pour votre séjour.

Notre piscine est ouverte au début du mois de mai, car nous profitons d'un emplacement au sud, et nous sommes à quelques minutes en voiture d'Argelès et de Collioure, qui sont toujours les endroits préférés à visiter.
