    Beautifully converted traditional stone-built hay barn set in its own grounds within easy walking distance of Manorbier village and the sandy beach. Ideal for families, walkers or anyone who wants to enjoy the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline! On arrival at the Haggard you will find parking in the driveway for 3 cars. There is a gate which secures the access from the road down into the village and makes it safe for small children and pets. The rest of the garden is enclosed. Inside the cottage you will be welcomed with a bottle of wine and a tea tray to help you unwind after your journey. We also provide more information on the property and the local area. Free wifi. Check in time is 3 pm on day of arrival and 10 am on day of departure.     Loved our stay but few things need change

    Hot water is dangerously hot. Needs proper shower in bathroom. We had to use en suite in our friends room. Felt check in was too late and check out too early. Really nice house and lovely welcome pack. We really enjoyed our stay.More

    Lovely and relaxing

    Just on our way home after 4 nights at The Haggard. Had a wonderful holiday. Great base for the coast. House had everything you need, well equipped, great enclosed garden for the dogs. Thanks we will be back.

    Great place to celebrate a 30th birthday

    About the neighbourhood
    There is a well stocked shop and post office in the village which is open from 7am-9pm everyday, a pub which serves food and a garden, the Beachbreak cafe which is open for breakfast and lunch, and the Castlemead hotel which serves good food. Manorbier beach itself is easily accessible with a little stream running down to the beach and rockpools which are exposed at low tide. If you don't mind walking there are two more beaches on the Coast path close to the Haggard, near Skrinkle, Church Doors and Precipe, not as busy as Manorbier but accessible by the tides. The nearby town of Tenby has more blueflag beaches, cafes, bistros and restaurants and a Sainsburys supermarket. Pembroke Dock has a Tesco, Asda and Lidol.
    How to get there
    Directions to The Haggard, Manorbier. From M4 West. Follow all signs for Tenby. From Tenby, take the B4139 towards Pembroke. Pass Golf course on your left, village of Penally on your right. Sharp bend under railway bridge - keep following the road until you come to the tiny village of Lydstep. 1/4 mile after you pass through Lydstep you will see a signpost for Manorbier directing you left towards the sea. Take this road and The Haggard is situated a few hundred yards down the road on the left hand side. It is a stone built low building next to Baldwins Moor, which is a cream coloured house with grey gates. If you get to the village of Manorbier you have gone too far!
