Chalet Namika provides a beautiful summer haven on a bed and breakfast basis.
In the winter season Chalet Namika provides a ski-in ski-out holiday on a luxury fully-catered basis.
Chalet Namika is a place of peace and comfort offering excellent facilities for both the active skier, cyclist or walker and for anyone else seeking a great summer or winter getaway.
The chalet comprises:
7 bedrooms all en-suite with bath/shower or shower and WC.
Large open plan lounge/dining room with comfortable leather sofas and flat-screen TV.
Wifi throughout the chalet.
Sliding doors onto a south facing sun terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

Wonderful Christmas Skiing Experience
Had a wonderful Christmas week in Chalet Namika. Ian and Desa looked after us very well and Ian’s Christmas Dinner was excellent! Great position for true ski in/ski out! Very comfortable sitting area and great layout generally. Great service with nothing too much trouble. One daughter is lactose intollerant and the food worked perfectly. We had great snow after the storm before Christmas and an all round lovely week.

Fantastic chalet, location and host
Stayed at the chalet Namika over the Mega Avalanche week. Chalet is in a great location and well presented, you can follow a green run from DMC1 then a firetrack and arrive back at the Chalet with ease. Ian was a fantastic host over the week, nothing too much trouble and happy to help and advise on runs and also the best places to eat out. Food was provided with a continental breakfast and a nice variety of evening meals and lots of 2nds available. So glad we found the chalet Namika and will be booking up next year for biking and now considering a winter holiday with Ian and his chalet.

Mega week
Just back from an enjoyable week competing in the megavalnche in Alpe d’Huez. Really glad that we stayed with Ian as he and his chalet made everything easy and comfortable. We really were made to feel at home and nothing seemed to be a problem.
A well stocked beer fridge or as many cups of tea and coffee as you liked, early morning breakfasts when required and evening meals made for an excellent stay.
Secure bike storage and lots of room to park made the week run smoothly.
Thanks Ian we will be back 👍🏻

Chalet Namika Returning Guest
Literally ski in/out, what more could you ask for after a day on the slopes, a beer or 2 in the hot tub with amazing views. Great location, great CHALET, Even better hosts and food to finish off.

Amazing amazing amazing!
We’ve just got back from an absolutely amazing week at Chalet Namika!
It is perfectly located with snow allowing ski-in, ski out even in March, a magic carpet just metres away to help get the kids back after ski school and a handy bus stop nearby if you want to pop into town ski free!
The chalet itself is very luxurious - the most spacious chalet rooms we’ve ever stayed in, with the hot tub, steam room and cinema room offering the perfect touches for relaxing after a great day on the slopes.
Ian and Rich were fab hosts, and the food was delicious throughout.
Cannot recommend Chalet Namika highly enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect chalet, food & ski conditions. The perfect week!
Another absolutely amazing week in Chalet Namika! Thank you so much Ian and Rich for the perfect hosting, the delicious food, the patience you had when the kids delayed dinner…!! And for not complaining when the kids turned the whole living space into a giant playroom. Sun, snow and the perfect chalet and chalet hosts - what more could you want?! We all absolutely loved it and wished we could have stayed out longer!! Hopefully see you next year 🙏🙏. Love Karina, Luke, Finn and Wilf x

Perfect place to base yourself for a cycling holiday
We just spent a few nights at Namika with a bunch of cycling clients and Ian made us feel like we were home the entire long weekend. The chalet is in a great location, above Alpe d'Huez, so it's quiet and has stunning views. Ian catered two of our dinners and all our breakfasts (including one at 3am!) and all meals were excellent. Couldn't recommend Namika highly enough.

An ideal base for a skiing holiday.
The chalet is run in such a way to remove any stress from the holiday. Pick up and drop off at the arrival bus stop - sorted (Even at 5.30 am!). Pick up and return of ski hire - sorted. Ski lift passes - sorted. Ski from and back to chalet - easy. Hot tub and steam room - relaxing apres ski. In house bar - no cash hassles, drinks on a tab and pay before departure. Excellent food. Wine with meal. Experienced advice about runs and piste conditions.
Sad that Flash the Basset Hound is no longer there.

Couldn't have been better hosts!!
Absolutely loved our time this week at the Chalet.
Iain and June were fantastic hosts looking after everything from Ski hire to lessons.
We went as a large party and everything was perfect, including the food.
Thanks guys, it was great.
Highly reccomend to anyone and will be back.
