The beautiful historic centre of Wernigerode consists of an idyllic combination of traditional half timbered houses from the middle ages, an imposing castle, a distinctive town hall and a beautiful cobblestone square through which you wander back in time In addition, the town is located on the edge of the beautiful Harz, and there are many hiking paths and signs for young and old. The nature love will find thick forests in the national park (laid out around the 1100 meter high Brocken), and expansive hiking paths, while you can visit the caves in Rübeland with the kids or take a ride on the small gauge railways which traverse the region. You will inhabit a 3 person holiday residence (45m) on the second floor of this characteristic half timbered house dating from 1863. From the residence you can see the castle, and because the house is located in the centre, you can step right into the historic town centre. You will receive a free parking permit from the homeowner with which you can park for loading and unloading in front of the holiday home. Free long-term parking is possible with this parking permit in 3 parking spaces on the outside of the historic center The bedroom and the gallery bedroom form together one open space without connecting doors, set within two floors. The gallery bedroom with play corner is reached by fairly steep stairs. Due to the headroom the gallery bedroom is only suitable for children..
