Occupying the entire top two floors of Sonneg Lodge, The Penthouse is a stunning four /five bedroomed duplex apartment with a large open plan double height reception room offering spectacular views through four metre high windows towards the towering 4000 meters high snow-covered peak of the Dom ( the highest peak in Valais). Fitted out to a very high standard this penthouse apartment is perhaps the best of its type to be found anywhere in Saas-Fee.

The Penthouse apartment is flooded with natural light through the high windows and terrace doors. The use of traditional natural materials like stone, oak, pine and reclaimed larch, as well as the large pitched pine roof and exposed pine beams, natural wood burning stove provide traditional Alpine Chalet –styling with a contemporary twist which is both enduring and timeless.

Sonneg Lodge (translated as Sunny Lodge because of its position in the Saas Fee village which enjoys much longer hours of natural sunlight than the lower village) is an architect designed luxury accommodation combining the charm and the warmth of a traditional Alpine Chalet with the best of contemporary modern design.

The building comprises of three stunning apartments which are let separately or can be ideally situated within 100 meters from the central village car park, which allows easy access for the loading/unloading of luggage/ski equipment, it is also a short 5 minutes' walk down to the heart of the village and dozens of restaurants which are scattered throughout the village, some just a few minutes' walk away. Saas-Fee is very well served by public transport.

Best airports for arrival by air are Zurich, Geneva and Milan, all almost equidistant ( about 3 hours from any of these airports to Saas-Fee by train to Visp and then by bus to Saas-Fee).

From the train station in Visp there is a regular and very efficient 40 minutes bus service to the very heart of the Saas-Fee village.

The Penthouse is only 5 minutes walk from the bus station in Saas-Fee.
