Had a lovely time in Derbyshire.The cottage was great lovely and warm and everything we needed.Lovely walks up back lane through the wood my 2 wee dogs loved it too.

Can only say good things about the old farmhouse, very old fashioned but still has most of the mod cons and essentials you need (and more than your average holiday let) Dog friendly was a bonus for us too. Great cosy character and functional cottage, in a lovely part of the country. wonderful farmer owners, (Steve & Shelley) who were very helpful, but also allowed for privacy. definitely recommend a stay at The Old Farmhouse. My 8 yr old loved collecting fresh eggs with the owner shelley, and they tasted great! we even made cakes with them to share...

Change over day is usually Saturday unless you have booked a short break. Pets are charged at £10 for 1 pet and £15 for 2 pets and £20 for 3 pets per booking

Darley Moor is in a secluded position on the edge of Two Dales in the Derbyshire Dales, not far from the lovely market town of Matlock and Bakewell. With bridle ways going right past the door, there is direct access to the local countryside. A short drive away are the stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall and famous beauty spots including Dove Dale, Lathkill Dale and Monsal Dale.

Railway: Matlock: 5.0 km
Travelling from Bakewell or Matlock take the A6 towards Darley Dale then take the B5057 sign posted for Two Dales. After approx 1 mile at the top of the hill turn left at the sign for Woodside Farm on to Butchers Lane.<BR><BR>Travelling from Chesterfield take the A632 towards Matlock after approx 4 miles turn right onto the B5057 towards Darley Dale, continue for a further 4 miles turn right at the sign for Woodside Farm on to Butchers Lane.<BR><BR>Then onto Back Lane untill reaching Woodside Farm on the right.<BR><BR><BR>
