Ample off-road parking and helicopter landing pad can be arranged. Gated grounds with lawned gardens. Sorry, no pets are allowed. Smoking is not permitted on the grounds or in the property. Shop 1.9 miles, pub 1.4 miles. Note: This property has a £1,000 Good Housekeeping bond. Note: No stag/hen or similar permitted; all other parties and events must be approved by the owner prior to booking. Given the surrounding natural beauty and local farming, fireworks are not permitted under any circumstances. Weddings can only be booked through the owners and tariffs for weddings and ceremonies are subject to a different pricing structure.

Town: The beautiful village of Hutton Rudby can be found tucked away in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, on the fringes of the North York Moors. We hired Rudby Hall for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversay. Safe to say the house exceeded all our expectations, and the photos dont do it justice. Hosts Neil and Pam so helpful.
Although I found the handover at the start of the week a bit daunting, we soon settled into the lifestyle of such a huge mansion, wandering the corridors without getting lost.
The great thing about this place is although there were so many of us staying there, you never felt crowded as there is so much space.
Every single bedroom was lovely.
We hired caterers Penleys for a formal meal one evening, recommended by the owners, and they were superb. Catered for 17 adults and 2 children. Amazing food.
The Wheatsheaf pub down the road were also great, we had 2 evening meals there and sunday lunch for 19 - which did not phase them at all. Beware of the Yorkshire sized portions!
I absolutley love this house, and despite it size, and it is massive, it felt really cosy. There is something truley special about Rudby Hall, it has a real positive energy around it.
I hope to return one day.

A fantastic 50th wedding celebration
We hired the fantastic Rudby Hall for a week to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. A weekend of family followed by 4 days of friends meant a full itinerary of games, celebratory dinners and outdoor fun, and we have left with so many great memories and photos. The management team fronted by the wonderful Eleanor were just delightful in their friendly and professional approach throughout and we could not recommend this venue more highly.
Both inside and out, what an occasion it was!!

Superb accommodation for a large get together - highly recommended
The Hall was wonderful in every way. We hosted a family and friends 50th birthday and every guest was really impressed. Beautiful bedrooms and en- suites and the reception rooms and kitchen were excellent both with space and facilities. Outside the garden area was great as were the views. Highly recommended, Eleanor and Neil were really helpful in the planning stage and during the visit.

Wonderful family weekend away
Just returned from the most amazing weekend with family at Rudby Hall.
Such an elegant, spacious house in an amazing setting. Having rooms all ensuite was such a bonus, especially as there were 20 of us. All the beds and linens were extremely comfortable. The kitchen is a cooks paradise and so well equipped. We opted to hire a table tennis and pool table too which was a fab addition. A BBQ in the gardens with the lovely outdoor furniture was a super too.
Inside the property having a lift was hugely helpful for the older members of our party too.
All communication with Eleanor was speedy and helpful. Such a beautiful property and part of the world. We hope to come back again.

An Amazing Place for a Large Family Holiday!
We booked Rudby Hall for a big family holiday and it was excellent! Wonderful grounds for the eight grandchildren to play. (Good to have the main lawn area contained by a low wall so they knew the limits.) The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious. So much space that it was hard to believe that there were 19 of us in the house. What better than a country house for playing sardines and hide and seek?
Stokesley has a local farmers' market (check details in the info pack) and it has a bakery and butchers, too (as well as a large supermarket). There is a farm shop a bit further away in Yarm.
We visited Saltburn and Whitby for the seaside, the North York Moors Railway for the fun, Durham for the sightseeing and other more local places for walks.

Home of my dreams
I can’t believe I stayed in a home like this! It was everything I dreamed of! Well kept! Short drives to the nearest towns were very reasonable. The grounds were perfect for the spring time. Would stay again with a group. Nice and quiet English countryside setting.

Pilates & Wellbeing Retreat
We've just returned from hosting a Pilates & Wellbeing Retreat with 16 attendees for the weekend and it's been absolutely amazing.
The venue is breathtaking, with a fantastically stocked kitchen making it ideal for self-catering for larger groups.
Pilates & Meditation in the Library, with simply stunning bedrooms & bathrooms ensured our Retreat guests were immersed in luxury, whilst focusing on their health & wellbeing in surroundings which just allowed us to step off the treadmill of every day life. Exploring the grounds was a real treat!
Eleanor was absolutely brilliant in assisting the booking from enquiry to attendance including facilitating a handover for the weekend.
We will definitely be back. We're already planning the next retreat! :)

Birthday Gathering
Fabulous Place for Friends and Family. We used Rudby Hall as a venue for a birthday gathering. Everyone loved the place. Great facilities, lovely surroundings. Easy to reach places to explore outside of the hall itself. Friendly and efficient team running the place. Absolutely recommend it.

The best day of our lives
This place & the whole Rudby hall team gave me and my husband the best day of our lives , to start off our future together we could not have asked for anything more .
From the start to the finish everything was flawless , nothing was too much to ask and the support was unreal .
The place was perfect for our 60 guests and we partied 6-12 the dance floor was full .
Everything we wanted and more , price was very reasonable compared to other places and the outside caterers and mobile bar worked a treat .

70th Birthday Celebration
We have just returned from celebrating my special birthday with my family and friends (23 of us). Rudby Hall is amazing, all the rooms including the fantastic bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds, bathrooms and grounds are just wonderful. The amenities available, including well stocked kitchen of utensils, crockery and glassware was second to none. We received a lovely welcome from Eleanor who was just great from the moment we made the enquiry, to answering all our questions prior to arriving. It was the best time and we would recommend this wonderful property.
