Our rustic, self-catering cottage sleeps 4+ persons. It is the larger of 2 cottages in the grounds of a renovated farmhouse set in a tranquil location. Close to Mont St Michel, St Malo, Cancale, Dinan, Dinard Airport and beautiful beaches.

The self-catering open plan kitchen/diner/living area is situated on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped with an oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, assorted cutlery, glasses, cups, plates and bowls, etc. The double bedroom, also on the ground floor, sleeps two people comfortably. The living area consists of a double sofa bed, 2 easy chairs, a coffee table and a 32' flat screen TV (not shown in photo), (English channels only) and a DVD player. About the neighbourhood
A wide range of activities are available, including walking, cycling, horseriding, boating, golf, fishing, parks, etc. Our property is within a short drive of Le Mont St Michel which is a stunningly beautiful abbey and town. Known as the 'Jewel of Brittany' it is a favourite haunt for tourists. Cancale - A small port town famous for its seafood restaurants. Dinan - This is the best preserved medieval town in France. An ancient walled city situated above the river Rance it has many attractions including architecture, restaurants, bars and delightful shops. Dol-de-Bretagne - A quaint historical market town with cobbled streets, cathedral, restaurants, bars, shops and an indoor swimming pool. There is a very large street market in Dol de Bretagne every Saturday throughout the year from 8am to 1.30pm. It also hosts 'Fete de la Musique' on the 20th of June 2015 with displays of traditional music and dancing in the centre of the town every Sunday between 4pm and 6pm. There is also a 'Festival Folklorique' on the 26th of July 2015. All of these events involve live Celtic music and wonderful, traditional costumes. Mont Dol - A picturesque village set upon a hill with amazing panoramic views. St Malo - This is probably the town where you will arrive by ferry. It is a stunning historic walled city with its own beaches, bars, restaurants and plenty of great shopping, including late night shopping. Beaches - The coastline from the Bay of Mont St Michel to St Malo offers not only scenic clifftop walks but many beautiful sandy beaches, some of which are very suitable for children and others that offer watersports and opportunities for para-sailing and sand-yachting.
How to get there
From Dinard Airport and/or channel ports, follow signs to Mont St Michel. Follow the N176 to Dol de Bretagne or Pontorson. Between Dol de Bretagne and Pontorson take the D87 signposted to St Broladre. Follow the D87 towards St Broladre for 3 kilometers. From St Broladre, at the only traffic lights, take the D87 up the steep hill, passing the convent and a small hamlet Les Muriaux. Continue straight on to Le Roche Macon where you will find La Baudouinais on the right of the S-Bend.
