Relax with a glass of wine in the sun lounge and watch the sun go down over Cardigan Bay; watch the sheep grazing in the fields and perhaps buzzards and red kites soaring overhead.
This cottage has access to our own large field overlooking Cardigan Bay. There's plenty of space to fly a kite or kick a ball. Y Llaethdy is a short walk away from the pebbly beach of Llwyngwril but just a few miles away from the beautiful sandy beaches of Fairbourne, Tywyn and Barmouth. If you enjoy walking there are numerous wonderful walks from our doorstep.
We can provide freshly harvested vegetables grown on our land at reasonable prices.

We used Y Llaethdy as a base whilst walking the Meirionnydd stretch of the Wales Coastal Path between Porthmadog and Machynlleth. It was perfectly positioned with the railway station just five minutes walk away which meant we we able to cover the whole distance with minimal use of the car. The cottage was warm and cosy and we loved watching...

Management response:

Thank you very much for your complimentary review. It's good to know that our cottages can be used as a base for walking the Wales Coastal path. We're glad you appreciated all the extra touches. We do hope we'll be able to welcome you back to Y Llaethdy next time you walk the coastal path! more

An absolutely dream location - wide conservatory windows looking right out over the Irish Sea. So whatever the weather you can sit inside looking over the ocean. And there's lots to do in the locality, good food to be had. Very comfortable cottage and the hosts obliging and easy going. We had a marvellous week - sun in early October.

Management response:

It was a pleasure to welcome you both to Y Llaethdy for a week. You certainly were lucky with the weather. It's lovely to see people using public transport to explore the area. more
