Overview
Converted chapel -
2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8
Llwyngwril, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Wales
Myfanwy is one of two properties in a newly converted Church of England school. It is shaped like a chapel, having been used, after a school, as a Church Hall, and later as a Art Gallery and Welsh crafts Centre with a Tearoom,. It is accessible for those with mobility problems (wheelchairs) and is EXCEPTIONALLY SPACIOUS, with everything provided for your comfort. The property has a twin room downstairs (4m 50cm X 3m 65cm) with en-suite wet room and grab bars, and seat for those who are less able (1m 97cm x 1m 80cm). The other bedroom is upstairs and is a double room, which is huge (7m 90cm x 4m 65cm) and has 2 sofas, or and TV and DVD player, and music centre so that children or some of the group may watch DVDs. There is an en suite bathroom with a whirlpool bath and shower over it (2m 20cm x 2. 45cm), Great to ease aching limbs... Read more

Myfanwy is a very comfortable, clean & well maintained property. From walking in we were impressed. The provision of bedding to suit age & gender of the chid was a lovely touch, as was the provision of essentials & local food items on arrival. the kitchen had everything needed for preparing & cooking meals. There was a TV, DVD player...

Thank you to you all, for appreciating my property! You are most welcome at any time. I can't always guarantee the same amazing weather, but as you say, there is provision for a rainy day also. I can also make suggestions for places to visit on such days too. I hope to see you all sometime in the future, just...

Myfanwy was perfect for our group of me and my husband, our daughter and our two little granddaughters. We loved our palatial room upstairs with a lovely en-suite and our family had their own room with a cot for the baby and their en-suite too. We loved how the owner had made up the older girl's bed with children's bedding...

In a converted chapel the apartment was clean and spacious good position for a base when visiting the coast or Snowdonia National Park. The beach here is full of boulders so not the place if you want a beach holiday. However the views over the bay on the drive up is stunning. Just a few miles from Tywyn and 30...

Thank you for your review. I am pleased to read that you found my property spotlessly clean. The beach is a shingle beach, which changes regularly, dependent on the sea’s action and has been known to have lots of sand as well. There are sandy beaches nearby at Fairbourne, which is an amazing award-winning beach, which is deserted for a...

About the neighbourhood
This area enjoys a micro-climate as the Gulf Steam protects us from harsher weather which may be experienced inland. The coast also has less rainfall than inland.
Llwyngwril is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, and also provides a peaceful hideaway from a busy life. Our beaches are not heaving with people, even in the height of the season, and you will not get caught in traffic.

The village has a pub and a village shop, which .
The beach has shingle and if visits and walks to it are planned for low tide, you will find it interesting with lots of rock pools, and expanses of sand. It is common for people to have bonfires on the beach and to watch one of our spectacular sunsets, over a bottle of wine, and food cooked on the fire, o... more
