Our stunning, cosy, period house has it all. Newly refurbished, but retaining many original features included mostly stripped pine floors and furnished to a very high standard, Frondderw, has all the comforts of modern living and a lot more besides. A very comfortable and well furnished cottage. The location is easy to get to and very close to the beach. We watched the most beautiful sunset from the front garden. I highly recommend staying here.

The perfect family house for us all to be comfortable and have our own space. We used the house as a base to explore the area and the many steam train lines, as well as going to the local beach in rain and sunshine!

About the neighbourhood
Just a few minutes' walk is the rocky beach at Llwyngwril, on the sunny West facing Cambrian Bay and 15 Minutes away at Tywyn there are miles of sandy beaches. Don't miss the spectacular sunsets over the bay. From early Spring through till Autumn, dolphins and porpoise can be spotted close to the shore, an amazing sight to see! Its not unusual to see them on a daily basis in pods of up to 20. Tywyn is possibly the only place on the West Coast where you can park for FREE virtually right on the beach. There is level access to the town where there are supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, a post office, cinema, health centre, cottage hospital, several churches, leisure centre and an indoor swimming pool. Just a further 5 minutes drive is the picturesque harbour village of Aberdovey, with the f...
How to get there
Just down the road, Llyngwiril has its own main line railway station on the Cambrian Coast line which links you to the Midlands. There are good road connections from the Midlands and the North West, taking about 2 hours by car. The nearest airport is Manchester 2.5 hours drive away Drive into Llyngwiril having past Rhoslefain from the Tywyn end on the A493. Go over the stone bridge in the village and past the playground on the left and the house on the right with the blue gates. Or around the coast road from the Dolgellau direction, its on the left before you get to the playground about 100 yards from the village centre.
