Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Private and picturesque setting. Convenient for Conwy and Bodnant Garden. Lovely views across to the mountains. There is a little road noise but cannot see the road. Made up for by the woodland setting.

About the neighbourhood
Tan y Graig between Rowen & Conwy provides the perfect place from which to explore Snowdonia. Conwy itself has plenty for the visitor, including Conwy Castle, the Smallest House in Britain, the Conwy River Festival, and the Bluegrass Festival if country music makes you swing. Near to Conwy, Llandudno hosts all the main department stores, renowned theatre, pier and beaches, the Great Orme Country Park, and Copper Mines. For gardeners, the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens is worth a leisurely visit. From Tan y Graig, you can easily take the coast road westwards towards Bangor or the Island of Anglesey, turn eastwards towards Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, or drive inland along the Conwy Valley to reach mountains, green valleys and cool lakes. Hwyl - enjoy!
How to get there
Approaching Conwy from either direction on the A55, leave at Junction 18 and take the exit at the slip-way roundabout signposted DEGANWY A546 / CONWY / LLANDUDNO JUNCTION A547. Follows the road signs to CONWY. Immediately as you pass Conwy Castle, go 1st left at the small roundabout, signposted TREFRIW B5106. Go under the castle-wall arch and the railway arch. Continue along the main (winding) road into the open country. About 1 mile further on, the main road heads down an extremely steep hill with the River Conwy visible on your left. At the bottom of the hill is the Groes Inn on your right. Our private drive entrance is difficult to find, so we strongly suggest that you park in the layby near the Groes Inn and give us a ring. We are only about 0.5 mile away and will come down to welcome you in.
