This is a recently developed property. It has its own private walled patio with views across the countryside. As you enter the property you have a spacious lounge with a dining section at one end. This leads to the kitchen area which is equipped to ensure comfortable self catering. From the lounge you go down to the large master bedroom which has its own shower ensuite. Up from the lounge you have the family shower room and the second bedroom which is a large double and has optional use of a mezzanine with a single bed. The gite is beautifully furnished and offers a cool, tranquille environment when you want to escape the heat of the day. The gite is part of an old farm complex, there is a second gite on site, but they have their own patio area on the other side of the property so privacy for both properties is maintained. The main house on the farm site is a renovation project and is not occupied, please be assured that no building work is currently taking place on site. The property is minutes from its commune town of Pampelonne which has a corner shop which sells bread and croissants in the morning, a weekend butchers shop, a chemist and a doctors surgery. Then it is 12 mins to the nearest market town of Naucelle which has full services including a well stocked Intermarché supermarket as well as numerous shops and services.More

About the neighbourhood
The property is located in a beautiful area of France on the border between the Aveyron and the Tarn. The property does not have any neighbours (only the the two gites at this property) you can be sure of a peaceful stay - just the odd tractor may pass from time to time. The Viaur Valley is a very special place and the walks straight from the property are amazing. If you feel a bit isolated and crave a bit of culture you are just 5 minutes away from the RN88 which will whisk you North to the Aveyron and South to the Tarn where there are many lovely towns and tourist sites to explore.
Getting around
You do need a car. By all means bring your bikes but there are a lot of hills - the area is know as the land of 100 valleys.
