We can provide a travel cot and highchair if required. There is underfloor heating throughout as well as a wood burning stove (with fireguard) to ensure the cottage is cosy and warm during even the wildest Welsh weather. From the kitchen there are double glass doors out to the large slate terrace and grassy garden from which you can enjoy the incredible sea views and sunsets over St Brides Bay. We welcome up to 2 dogs per booking. Situated in a quiet spot on a family farm, The Old Granary is the perfect escape from city life whilst still being within a 10 minute walk from the local bar/restaurant. The beautiful beach of Druidston Haven is also a 10 minute walk, where you can swim, surf, fish, horse ride, or just enjoy the impressive cliffs and expanse of golden sand.More

About the neighbourhood
The Old Granary at Shortlands Farm is in a peaceful hamlet a 10 minute walk from the stunning beach of Druidston Haven. The Pembrokeshire coast path can be accessed from the end of our bridleway as can the Puffin Shuttle (the local coastal bus) which is perfect for exploring further afield. You can walk to the local pub/restaurant in 10 minutes, and to the local shop in 40 minutes along the coast path or 5 minutes in the car. The perfect getaway all year round, The Old Granary at Shortlands Farm is ideally situated for lazy summer days at the beach or long wintery walks, with its large seaward facing terrace for summer evenings and cosy underfloor heating and wood burner for cold winter nights.
How to get there
Druidston is only 5 hours from London but is a different world! Accessible by car or train, once you've arrived Pembrokeshire is a great place to explore on foot or on one of the many local buses. By car from Haverfordwest take the A487 (St Davids road), at Simpson Cross turn left (signed Nolton Haven), at small crossroad go straight across, take the next right into a no through road between a red telephone box and a cream cottage, continue all the way to end until you reach a white cottage with a red front door.
