Enjoy a drink outside Little Oaks whilst watching the birds, you might even be lucky enough to see red squirrels visiting the feeders or a treecreeper spiralling the trunks of the ancient oaks. Jays and Woodpeckers are regular visitors to the garden, along with deer in the colder months. If you enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Highlands, Little Oaks will give you the retreat to return to and the haven to relax in. Little Oaks would not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to steps from the parking area. More

About the neighbourhood
The west coast of Scotland offers white sand beaches, glistening Lochs and miles of country to explore. With day trips to Inverness, Skye and Loch Ness an easy option, Fort William is the perfect destination to experience all the Highlands has to offer. The ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’, offers excellent climbing, walking and cycling all year round with fishing, golf and a variety of water sports available. Visitors from around the world come to see the highest mountain in the UK or traverse the West Highland Way or The Great Glen Way. For those simply wanting to take in the peace and serenity of the Highlands there are hundreds of miles of forest and moorland walks from low level to the extremes of Ben Nevis and other ‘Munro's'.
Getting around
As we are about 6 miles away from the centre of Fort William, a car is essential here. Little Oaks is a rural destination, but personal transport is also a must to do the area justice, exploring off the beaten track and visiting the nearby attractions. There are bus routes to Inverness, Skye & Oban and train links to Glasgow & Mallaig, all accessed from the bus station in Fort William.
