Nestled on the banks of the Usk,known as the best river in Wales for brown trout fishing,with an impressively engineered Chainbridge close by. This is a beautiful Welsh bolthole,perfect for two,yet thoughtfully designed and very family-friendly for up to four. There are two country pubs approx. 1 mile away that serve good homemade food,and are a perfect alternative to the local pub across the river (this is currently under-going renovations). Set in the rolling Monmouthshire countryside,the cottage is well place... The area is good for cycling and bike hire is available locally. The cottage offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size bedroom,1 twin bedroom. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC on the ground floor . Lounge/kitchen/diner: open plan with woodburner,(first basket of logs included) Smart TV and DVD. Kitchen area with electric oven and hob,microwave,dishwasher and washing machine. Outside: enclosed private patio area with seating,fire pit and BBQ. Bike storage available. Amenities: parking for 2 cars,bed linen,towels,electric,stair gate available on request,central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome.
