Morzine is renowned for its stunning views from the mountains across the wooded slopes and picturesque chalets. The commune itself is a traditional town with plenty to enjoy both in the summer and the winter, with great opportunities for walks in the mountains, caving and biking. We have lived here for 16 years and have three children so can recommend many fabulous restaurants, mountain refuges, treks and ideas for you all to be entertained for your holidays
Why not try Les Freterolles which is a mountain farm which you can access by donkey or foot and go and try their beignets Savoyarde or go down to their cheese cellars and choose some Tomme de Savoie or you feel like a proper pizza in Morzine - then we can recommend the right restaurant to go to rather than the tourist traps!
