Gentle walks to extreme mountain biking tracks are easily found. Hire bikes, canoes, horses, or go on foot to explore the stunning landscapes of the forest. Or you can test your fear and swing from the tree tops at GoApe. For more restful experiences, ten minutes drive away is Westbury Court Gardens - a stunning grade 2 English Heritage Garden. How to get there
About one and a half miles south of Newnham, leave the A48 and head towards Awre. After a mile and after crossing over a railway bridge, at the top of a hill you will see a large pylon on the right and on the left there is a cattle grid. Cross this grid and follow the drive nearly half a mile, over a second grid and take second turning on the right.
