About the neighbourhood
There are lots of things to do in the local area including walking and mountain biking literally from the doorstep, and several beautiful beaches within a 15 minute drive. Other attractions include Fishing 5 miles away at Tal-y-Llyn lake, Pony Trekking 15 miles away at Bwlchgwyn Farm, Aberdovey Golf Club 12 miles away, St Michaels Church is only half a mile away, Castell-y-Bere is an ancient castle within a mile of the cottage, Talyllyn Steam Railway is only 3 miles away, and King Arthurs Labyrinth is only 10 miles away.
How to get there
Due to the rural location a car is strongly advised. Most routes to Tyn-y-Fach from the Midlands and East will bring you along the M54 and A5 before you head onto the A458, A470, and A487. For the final stage of the journey the B4405 takes you to Abergynolwyn from where you turn onto LLanegryn Street by the Railway Inn pub for the final two miles across to Tyn-y-Fach. The Cross Foxes Inn at the junction between the A470 and A487 is a nice family friendly stop off for food on your way in or out which is about 15 minutes from Tyn-y-Fach.
