The Old Flax Mill is a true gem. Luxurious and spacious accommodation in a fantastic renovation set in beautiful scenery. We could have spent the whole stay exploring this unique property and relaxing by the stream in the garden. However, we were in Northern Ireland to explore the Causeway Coast, and the Old Flax Mill proved to be a great...

Management response:

Very grateful for the review Gavin. The Patterson family joined us from beautiful York so it takes a lot to impress. Many thanks for staying with us Gavin, just lucky that that slot came up as August is very busy. Great to see groups from England venturing over the Irish sea once again. Next time bring your golf clubs!!

The Old Flax Mill was beyond expectations and exceeded ours. Our family (10) incl 2 grandchildren experienced a home that was perfectly located for N. Ireland, clean, plenty of space, quiet, extremely comfortable, relaxing and being a family together in an environment and setting that is second to none. The value of what we paid to the services and home...

Management response:

Many thanks for the kind words. We always hope that we provide a value proposition which is truly value for money. We are always improving our service offering and adding facilities, particularly pleased to be welcoming American guests to our shores and these guests appreciated the great base the Flax Mill provides for touring Northern Ireland

We were a group of seven, would have been more but some had to drop out for various reasons. This place could have soaked up twice as many, it's just so big, a long way to walk to make a cup of tea. Not complaining, but it is a vast place. A choice of sitting-rooms, and more seating in the...

Management response:

Thank you for that very kind review which highlight the main features; great location, ample room in accommodation and in the common areas We have charged ahead with yet more renovation so there are some common areas in the annex not the standard of the main residence and hopefully they will be polished off very soon
