Roslyn House is an impressive, spacious 5 bedroomed home which is in an outstanding location in the heart of the beautiful Peak District National Park. Some of the Peak Districts finest walking can be done direct from the door, the famous market town of Bakewell is within easy walking distance (less than a mile) and in the opposite direction a short walk through the fields following the meandering River Wye will take you to the pretty village of Ashford in the Water famous for its medieval sheepwash bridge. The village is served by two well respected country pubs, The Bulls Head & The Ashford Arms, both are a great place to stop and sample a local ale.

We had a great stay at Roslyn house, it was ideal for our group and everything is finished to a very high standard. Also the perfect location for a stroll into Bakewell!

Set back from the main road that runs between Buxton and Bakewell, Rosylyn has one of the best locations in the The Peak District as it is walking distance to the busy market town of Bakewell which has an abundance of cafes, restaurants and shops. You can also enjoy a walk through fields alongside the meandering river Wye to the lovely village of Ashford in the Water which is served by two well respected pubs, The Bulls Head & The Ashford Arms. It also has some of the finest walking and cycling The Peaks has to offer from right outside the door, as The Monsal Trail with its recently opened tunnels runs all the way from Bakewell to Buxton.
