The Old Mill and Cottage which dated from around 1750 and has full of character and charm, with old beamed ceilings, an old spiral staircase and a unique tower with a magnificent view.

The Old Mill has four bedrooms; a double bedroom in the tower, twin bedroom, an adult bunk bedroom and a family room with double bed and adult bunk bed. It has two bathrooms, large lounge with 4 settees, patio garden with BBQ set, large dining room with a large table that can sit 10 easily. It is a perfect venue for a family holiday, get together party and a quiet hen and stag night parties.

The adjacent cosy cottage with an en-suite double bedroom with a sofa bed can be booked together with the Old Mill and it offers privacy when needed, while allowing the family to join together and enjoy.

I advice guests to telephone me any information they require. The keys would be handed over on arrival. Groceries etc can be delivered from Sainsbury, Tesco, Morrissons and Asda. Mayfield Store, Coffee Shop and Post Office our local village shop 100 meters away and local butchers and delicatessen shop quarter a mile away. Bus Stop next to the properties. Jug and Glass Pub and Restaurant a mile away. Lea Rhododendrons Garden Centre and Coffee Shop 1 mile away.

We were delighted with the accommodation. It is spotlessly clean and the owners Terrance and Emelda could not have been more helpful. They were very generous in leaving little extras and there was nothing that we did not have. The beds were very comfortable with lovely fresh linen . The location is excellent and is within easy reach of many...

We stayed here between Christmas and the New Year, with an extended family group, we thought the property was simply awesome. It is true the layout is a little quirky in places, but then I really like that about a property, adding character and interest. It was also decorated nicely for Christmas, perhaps a layout plan on the website would...

Lovely welcome with chocolates & even a gorgeous birthday cake made by the owner's wife. Children were happy because there were plenty of toys, inside & out. The beds were comfy & clean. The spiral staircase down to the kitchen was tricky to negotiate, particularly carrying down our supplies for the weekend. Overall a wonderful weekend.
