There are many attractions within half an hour's drive including Abbotsbury,Crealy,Bicton Park,the cathedral city of Exeter and numerous National Trust properties. It is also an idyllic spot from which to walk and spot birds within the Axe estuary’s nature reserve. The village of Kilmington is a 15-minute walk and boasts two local pubs serving food and a farm shop selling local produce. There is also an excellent homemade Indian takeaway service in the village. It has it's own access and sits within a peaceful countryside setting. As you enter the property,you will be greeted with the delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The kitchen is complete with electric oven,hob,microwave,fridge,freezer,dishwasher and washing machine. The great thing about this layout is that as you cook in the kitchen,you can still join in with activities and conversations taking place in the lounge area. The rest of the room offers a dining table,comfortable sofas,TV,Bluetooth music system and a wood burner with the first basket of logs included,more logs are available to purchase on site. On sunny days,you can open the patio doors from the lounge and let the fresh air in whilst admiring the view. At the other end of the property are the bedrooms; a king-size bedroom which has zip-and-link beds that can be made up as 2 singles upon request - this bedroom also has an en-suite shower room with shower over bath and WC. There is also a further king-size bedroom,a twin bedroom and a shower room with WC. Shower stool and grab rail available upon request. Outside you can enjoy the uninterrupted countryside views from the private decked area. On sunny evenings,fire up the BBQ and relax on the garden seating with a glass of wine.
