Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Great short stay
Special friend is a regular here - invited to stay here with her to celebrate her special birthday and had a wonderful time. A lovely, peaceful place at Hawley Farm stayed in the Cider Press. Hosts Pamela and Graham made us feel very welcome and we were treated to homemade scones with clotted cream and raspberry jam. The accommodation is a superb standard with 3 bedrooms on lower ground floor and living open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area on first floor - offering great views. Accommodation had everything that we needed and more! Glad we followed our friend to find Hawley Farm as very narrow lanes in area! Will return with partner later in the year!

We'll worth the wait
We had to postpone our planned visit for 2021 due to Covid and family commitments but finally visited in 2022. The original plan was for three adults and two children to visit however in the event it was just two adults. The Cider Press has loads of room and is really well maintained. It's in a beautiful spot and so quiet yet not far from Honiton and Axminster. The bedrooms are downstairs and the open plan kitchen lounge is upstairs with beautiful views of the country. Pamela and Graham are very welcoming and there were scones with cream and jam in the fridge on our arrival. There's lots to do in the area and we hope to visit again in the future.

A perfect hideaway
Our daughter Helena booked the two adjacent properties to comply with Covid social distancing requirements. Everything was perfect. We felt safe and reassured in warm, comfortable accommodation which has been finished to a high standard. All rooms are very well equipped, the kitchen particularly so. The friendly owners made us very welcome and there were home made scones, jam and cream on the table when we arrived, as well as a vase of fresh flowers. The weather was kind enough for us to enjoy the outside seating and there were plenty of lovely walks and places to visit in the surrounding area. The underground chalk caves in Beer are worth a visit as well as Lyme Regis. This is a super place to spend a really enjoyable family holiday.

Blissful rural life on the farm
A perfect base from which to explore the scenic delights of East Devon and West Dorset. A real sense of isolation and tranquility and the chance to experience a little of how a farm works. The house we stayed in (Cider Press) was really comfortable with everything that you could ever need in order to have a perfect home-from-home experience.

Perfect place to stay.
We have just returned from a week staying in The Stables at Hawley farm. We were met by Pamela on arrival who was very welcoming! Scones, jam and clotted cream, who could ask for more after a long journey. The cottage is 5 star, beautifully renovated and has everything you could ask for in a self catering property! The area is beautiful with lots to keep both adults and children entertained. Many amenities nearby and of course the beautiful coastline and lovely villages of Lyme Regis, Beer, Seaton to mention a few! We will not hesitate to stay at Hawley Farm in the future.

Lovely place to stay
We had a great stay at the stables cottage. Beautiful modern recently renovated accommodation and a lovely peaceful setting. Children absolutely loved seeing how the farm worked and had a chance to milk the cows - highlight of their trip ! Gorgeous homemade scones and jam on our arrival as well - highly recommended.

Wonderful holiday and scenic location
just spent a lovely week at Hawley Farm - Graham and Pam were so welcoming ... especially the complimentary scones/clotted cream on arrival (Delish!!!) The accommodation was first class and spotless and the location was so quiet and beautiful. We were lucky enough to also view the other two barns available for holiday rent and would highly recommend these stunning properties. There are lots of lovely places to visit nearby including Lyme Regis which has always been our favourite and the local Public House 'The Tuckers Arms' was a great place to eat. We will be returning in the future to these amazing barns

A perfect Devin retreat
Stayed in the cider press for a week with my parents and 2 young kids (3 and 9 months). The cottage is beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The open plan living accommodation was lovely and perfect for the kids and family living. The beds were so comfy. The bathrooms were well appointed. These are barn renovations done to the highest standards. Everything you needed was provided in the cottage. The garden and private bbq area was bliss. We spent a fair bit of time here and loved it Pamela and graham were perfect hosts. They were on hand with answers to any queries or to give tips on restaurants/beaches etc yet not at all intruding in any way. They were so approachable. And they gave my 2 kids a tour of their farm showing them the cows being milked and letting my son go in a tractor! They are obviously proud of their farm and they were so interesting and answered all our questions. The location is perfect- a slice of tranquil Devon with beautiful views and cows in the hilly fields around yet so so easy to get to everywhere including lovely beaches and villages. V near to a town Axminster with all you need and the home of the river cottage canteen. We’ve had the loveliest week and rarely return to the same place twice but we will return here. It’s just fabulous.

Perfect, Peaceful and Comfortable
The property is surrounded by picturesque farm land, a small stream and some breath taking views. Inside is a lovely mix of country cottage and modern luxury with 3 spacious bedrooms down stairs one with an en suite and a walk in shower. Upstairs there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with heated oak floors and a working log burner. The owners Pam and Graham are very welcoming and friendly. On site there is a herd of dairy cows, sheep and their affectionate cat, Tiddles. I would recommend this let to anyone looking for a break in Devon.
