About the neighbourhood
Wolverfontein Farm Cottages is found just off the R62, between Barrydale and Ladismith. It lies at the foot of the Touwsberg on the banks of the Touws River. The area is well known for it's hot springs spa and Ronnie Sex Shop, which is actually a world famous pub. The cottages are surrounded by beautiful open landscapes, and access to the nearby Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve is free. The reserve had kudu, eland, and even giraffe. It offers excellent walking and mountain biking.

How to get there
Travel along the N1 from Cape Town into Worcestor. Turn onto the R60 towards Robertson. Travel through Ashton towards Montagu. Join the R62 after Montagu and travel towards Barrydale. 45 km after Barrydale take the turn off to Plathuis to the left. About 4km along this dirt road there is fork in the road. Take left fork. Do not drive towards Rietfontein. Less then 1km take the first gate to left - it's across the road from a ruined building and literally the first small farm road gate after Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve and Ganskop Farm. Looks like it is going nowhere, but once you're through it, you'll see our farm in the valley below. Please be aware that there is only limited Vodacom cell phone reception in the area, and that we have mild mannered dogs on the property. We have a mosaic tile sign next to our gate, but we also have a new sign on our gate with our distinctive “W” logo. Please give us a shout from Barrydale so that we can keep an eye open for you and open your cottage.
