This Fisherman's Cottage recently refurbished is located waterside looking across the river towards The Dock Marina and beach. Five minutes walk from Kinsale town centre, restaurants, pubs and shops. Kinsale is the most picturesque, popular and historic town on the south coast of Ireland, is the gourmet capital of Ireland and is world renowned for it's restaurants, cafes and bars. Kinsale is only 30 minutes from Cork Airport and is the start/finish of THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY. Beautiful wee cottage, fantastic location just a ten minute stroll into town. The cottage is 25 metres from the pier which would be ideal for fishing if it wasn’t for the seals.

This property met all our requirements: spacious. clean, and well equipped. Lovely place to relax and enjoy a coffee / drink in the front garden overlooking the sea. Above all, the house is ideally situated as an access point to the gourmet town of Kinsale...More

Easy walk to town center, morning coffee on the water, well equipped cozy a perfect place to stay. Great for day trips and close to visit my family member. Would buy in a minute and move back when we retire! James & Mary Jane Harrington

About the neighbourhood
Kinsale is a town on the southern coast of Ireland, in County Cork. Two 17th-century fortresses overlook the River Bandon: the vast, star-shaped Charles Fort to the southeast, and the smaller James Fort on the river's opposite bank. The 16th-century courthouse building houses the Kinsale Regional Museum, with a variety of displays on local history and information about the 1915 sinking of the RMS Lusitania.
Getting around
By car: Approaching Kinsale from Cork direction turn left at Centra Store and left again along quay/marina. Pass Trident Hotel on left and proceed about 300 yds to cottage on your right. Pass cottage and turn in right to parking area. Park in position No. 3. Eircode P17 VX23 By bus: Hourly bus service from Cork stopping at Cork Airport to Kinsale. Bus stops on quay as above and follow directions. Cork Airport is only 20 mins away on route to Cork
