Sunnyside is a delightful, long-standing cob cottage at the heart of the wonderful village of Saint Teath. Built around 300 years ago, Sunnyside has has been lovingly restored and modernised throughout. Much care has been taken to preserve and highlight the features which make it such a charming property filled with character. From the original fire places and clome ovens, to the traditional slate floor, to the new drive way which now has an imprinted compass in place to mark the location of the long-forgotten village well! Sunnyside cottage was just perfect. It’s got everything you need and more . Great location for exploring Cornwall . Phil and Liz are so helpful and friendly , lovely welcome pack which included a delicious cream tea . Highly recommend

My husband and I stopped here for six weeks January/ February 2020. Fabulous welcome from owners Phil & Liz. Very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was decorated to the highest standard and we absolutely loved the coal fires. Cosy...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely renovated cottage. It was extremely comfortable and cozy. Lots of extras on arrival as well as our hosts Phil and Liz to meet us. There’s a great pub in the village and the local cafe does great...More

About the neighbourhood
Sunnyside was a founding property during the formation of the village, and consequently today sits centrally, and less than a 200 yard walk to all village amenities; cafe, general store, post office, church, butchers and perhaps most importantly, the excellent White Hart Inn! Sunnyside is the ideal location for exploring the delights of North Cornwall and beyond. Popular local beaches, (Trebarwith Strand, Polzeath, Rock, Daymer Bay) and heritage hotspots such as Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Wadebridge, Bodmin Moor are all with 15 minute drive. Slightly further afield you can find Padstow, Newquay, Bude, and destinations such as the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House, to name but a few. There really is something for everyone!
Getting around
Cornwall is only really suitable for those with a vehicle. Reaching Sunnyside or visiting the surrounding area would be impractical without.
