Arthog Terrace - near Barmouth, Snowdonia

Holiday Rental House -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Arthog, Gwynedd, North Wales, Wales

During the cooler months a fire starter pack is provided and further supplies can be bought at the local shop in Fairbourne or Dolgellau. It also has a tv and dvd pl...

I think it should be more clearly highlighted that the front door opens straight onto the main road and the garden is across this road...not ideal with young children and a dog! The photos show a generous welcome pack of Welsh cakes, bread, milk, wine,...More

About the neighbourhood
Arthog is a quiet village between Dolgellau and Fairbourne. The house is in a row of listed Victorian terraces with views out to the Mawddach estuary.
Getting around
There is a train station at Fairbourne, the Mawddach Estuary and Barmouth. There is a bus stop about 100m from the house.
You can walk from the house to Barmouth over the Barmouth bridge and you can walk/cycle on the Mawddach Estuary path to Dolgellau.
Asda and Tesco deliver, so you can have car-free days if you want to, but we have found that it is useful to have a car available if you want to explore a bit further afield.
