This accommodation is very rustic in the truest sense. It suited us fine as it is great value for money, especially if you are using all of the available beds. If you are looking for luxury accommodation though this is not for you. I think it would suit people who are likely to be out and about during the day, skiing or walking perhaps, and want somewhere to eat and sleep at the end of it (i.e. the accommodation is not main feature of the holiday). In the day time it is quite dark inside the kitchen, which could be a little bit small if more than 3 or 4 people were eating in there. The fire was a highlight and made the whole place really snug. For young kids may not be ideal due to the stairs and mezzanine style of the bedrooms. In saying that we were there with our 3 year old and was not a major issue. Axel is a great host and goes out of his way to make you welcome. He also runs the hostel up the hill ("Fundalucia"), which is really nice and i would probably opt to stay...
