We had a lovely night away. Everything needed to travel light is supplied. Hot tub is perfect, private and heats quicker than expected. Had a great nights sleep and everything was pristine. Comfortable bed and robes. Beautiful views and felt lovely and secluded.

Chilled weekend at The Cara Pod
What an amazing romantic weekend spent at the cara pod. Relaxing, stunning, everything you need to be self sufficient in your own wee pod. The bed was so comfortable, the shower room spotless, lovely fluffy bath robes, even slippers and a hair dryer, and the kitchen has everything you can ask for. The hot tub was fantastic, it was just lovely looking over to Gigha and Jura, just the most beautiful scenery. West is best, but maybe I’m biased as we stay 25 miles drive away from point sands but we felt miles away from the madness of every day life. I highly recommend booking the cara pod. We will definitely be booking again. Excited to go back.

Perfect Romantic Getaway
The Carapod was the most perfect, romantic getaway. A fantastic and lovely interior space with the most amazing decked area outside leading to the most relaxing wood fired hot tub. We took a stroll along the beach which is perhaps 100 yards away, the views blew us away and we felt a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of everyday adult life. We then returned back to the pod to make some dinner, for dessert we retreated to the hot tub to sip bubbly under the stars, what more could you want?... Well imagine waking up in the morning, opening the curtains and looking out to not only 1 island but 6. It's just the most fantastic setting. We took the short ferry to the Island of Gigha which is gorgeous and we had lunch at the wonderful Boathouse. What a treat, again we returned back to the pod to head to the beach until the small hours, then back into the hot tub to sip another bottle under the stars. An experience we both enjoyed so much, giving us complete relaxation. Memories made that we will cherish forever. Thank you so much to you both and for your wonderful pod :)

Excellent self contained space in a beautiful location! Would highly recommend!
Stayed here for two nights for my birthday. The pod has everything you need and is a beautifully decorated and relaxing space. Owners were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. Hot tub was a lovely addition but beware it can get extremely hot! So my advice would be let the fire go out and leave the water to cool for a few hours. Wonderful to sit out under the stars in with a glass of bubbly.
The pod is right on the beach and has amazing views out towards Gigha and Jura.
I would highly recommend this to couples wanting to escape.

Anniversary holiday
My husband and I booked the carapod as an anniversary holiday to get away for a bit. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The carapod itself although compact was big enough for both of us and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus especially in the evening with the fairy lights and the sound of the waves in the background which allowed both of us to relax after exploring the area throughout the day. The views are truly one of a kind! We've already been recommending the carapod to others for a nice break away and we will definitely book the carapod again!!

Loved It
We booked this as a wee getaway from busy city life and it happened to be a birthday weekend too, we were delighted with the Cara pod it was small but very comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing weekend away. The wood fire hot tub was definitely a highlight and it had been fired up and was pretty much ready for us arriving which was a very nice touch. It was quite windy when we there but the hot tub is enclosed and you are sheltered from the wind meaning you can use this all year round. If you are looking for a weekend break or longer we would definitely reccomend the cara pod and will be back ourselfs!

Perfection!
Fabulous accommodation right on the beach with amazing views and hot tub. No better place to visit for a totally relaxing peaceful break. The only downside is you have to leave!

A romantic treat
A truly amazing weekend . The accommodation was great , cosy and warm . Watching the stars from the hot tub was breathtaking , very romantic . Sunsets fabulous !

Little Pod of Paradise
We had the most amazing time in beautiful Tayinloan, Kintyre. The Cara Pod provided us with everything we could possibly wish for and more...one of our most favourite getaways we've had.
The Pod was relatively new when we stayed and is perfect for a couple...even better if you get good weather. The location is breathtaking and provided us with the ultimate escape from it all, total relaxation!
Our communication with the owners made us feel well looked after whilst leaving us to completely enjoy our time. We only stayed for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer in this little pocket of paradise.
We can't wait to go back!

Relaxing and tranquil stay
Had an amazing time in the cara pod with my partner. Everything from the hot tub to the scenic views made our stay memorable. The pod was immaculately clean and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay. We will definitely be visiting again.
