Set in a peaceful Valley just 20 minutes drive from Ullswater and within easy reach of the A69 and M6, Chapel House Cottage is the perfect spot for either a relaxing break away from it all, or an ideal base for an action packed outdoor vacation. Large Master Bedroom with marvelous views of the surrounding area. The room has two 2-seater settees, one of which can be converted into a double bed for additional guest. The room is dominated by a large panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass bay window with amazing views over the surrounding countryside. Bedroom 2 is equipped with one double and one single bed, as well as a cot for a baby or small child. The dining area sits in a large bay window with a patio door to the large side garden and the dining table commands fantastic views over the surrounding countryside to the West. The sundowns are often a delight from this prime spot in the cottage. Free Parking is available for up to 3 cars. More

Location : Situated only 2 miles from Jn 42 on the M6, the location provides easy access and is central for visiting the Northern and Eastern Lakes, the Pennine Hills, Carlisle, Hadrians Roman Wall and the Eden Valley. The city of Carlisle is within 5 miles with plenty of shops and local interests of border heritage. Scottish Borders are nearby with Gretna Green & the Solway Coast attractions within drivable distance.
How to get there
From Junction 42 of M6. From the North, take 1st exit in the direction A6 to Penrith. From the South, take 3rd Exit in the direction A6 to Penrith. After 1 miles, follow signs to cocklakes and Cotehill. Drive 2 miles (3.2km) into Cotehill. At Cotehill, 50 metres after the very narrow section of road turn left at the crossroads. Go down the hill approx 200 metres and the track to Chapel House Cottage is the very first turn on the left hand side. There are wheelie-bins at the entrance to the driveway - as a landmark.
