Tyn Y Coed cottage is a recently refurbished 300 year old cottage which has retained many of its original features. Built of Welsh stone, the cottage features exposed wooden beams, inglenook fire places, and a large wood burning stove. The cottage offers exceptional and rare original character and charm.
Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park the cottage sits in its own grounds with a luxury hot tub that seats 6 and is surrounded by mature woodland and lush green fields which provide the ultimate retreat for tranquillity and relaxation. Sit and relax in the gardens and all you will hear are the songs of the birds, and the trickle of water from the nearby stream.
You will find a welcome hamper on arrival and plenty of logs ready to burn in the log burner. Your nearest neighbour is...

Amazing stay
Lovely scenery and a peaceful environment. Perfect for a relaxing break away. Very dog friendly and lots of walking trails nearby for the dogs to run free!

Perfect holiday cottage
Beautiful comfortable cottage, with everything we needed for our short break. Comfortable beds, lovely log burner and cosy lounge area. Great hot tub too.

Lovely cottage
Excellent cottage,we had a lovely time coming back each evening to a hot tub was lovely,not to mention the log burner.The peaceful scenery was beautiful,Lisa and partner(hosts) friendly and helpful the welcoming hamper was a lovely thought,had a lovely break,would definitely go back and would recommend this lovely cottage

Birthday getaway
Stayed here for my birthday getaway and it was amazing! So homely, cosy and a beautiful setting! Close to pub and restaurant not too far to travel to get to places you need to. My favourite cottage to stay in, was the best time and had such a welcoming host - lisa, thank you so much, I will be returning

A welcomed catch up for 4 friends
My go to place. The most wonderful picturesque cottage ever !!! . 4 women for a long weekend. The kitchen was fantastic with every mod con you could want ! The log fire was amazing in the beautiful cosy lounge Lovely and warm after coming in from the hot hot tub !! Luxurious beds , pillows and linen. Private grounds and gardens overlooked only by some nosy sheep We had the most wonderful time. Highly recommend Absolutely 5 stars plus

Amazing stay at Tyn y Coed cottage
Quaint Cottage set in spacious grounds, a lovely cosy cottage, with a feature log burner that keeps the evenings nice and cozy. The welcome was a very nice touch . It's fair to say it lives up to its 5* rating, we will definitely be returning soon .

Absolutely beautiful cottage
Tyn Y Coed is a very special place, it’s the 5th time we have been there for our family holiday. It’s so peaceful and decorated to a very high standard. The beds are the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, the bedding is luxurious. The hot tub is amazing rain or shine ✨
