Set amongst the sunflower fields in the undulating countryside of the Lot et Garonne.
The gite at Grenier offers you peace and tranquility, views from every angle and wildlife in abundance. The location is remote enough to be able to give you total peace and tranquilty but near enough to be within a 2 minute to drive to the local shop and restaurant.
The valley of the lot et Garonne has so much to offer from wonderfully historic bastides, spectacular scenery, Local markets to Chateaus and vineyards and more.
Grenier Gite has been lovingly renovated to provide a high level of comfort and style. Light, bright and airey.

Excellent
We had a excellent few days at Grenier gite.
Claire and Gary are fantastic hosts.
The gite was very comfortable and well equipped.
In a quiet location with lovely views all around.
Would definitely recommend.

Peace in the countryside
Claire and Gary were very helpful and friendly and their 2 dogs were delightful.
The welcome pack was a pleasant and unexpected surprise with wine and eggs from their own hens. There was a hot tub just for our use only and you could sit under the stars with a glass of wine and enjoy the serenity. Plenty of different birds to see so take your binoculars and the possibility of deer passing by. We'll definitely be back!!

Calme reposant des propriétaires très sympathiques le gîte est très confortable très fonctionnel a la déco très british! On a adoré vue magnifique et la cerise sir le gâteau un jacuzzi on recommande cet endroit sans problème

Gîte charmant, très tranquille, très bien équipé. Recommandé sans hésitation, on reviendra l'année prochaine bien sûr!
L'endroit est fantastique en pleine campagne avec des vues magnifiques. Gîte impeccable et propre, très bien équipé. Litérie, serviettes, etc., de très haute qualité. Superbe bain à remous où on a passé des très bonnes soirées dessous les étoiles ! Claire et Gary, les propriétaires, sont charmants et ils font tous qu'ils peuvent pour rassurer qu'on a passé une bonne séjour dans leur gîte mignon. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir ! Je recommande ++++++ 20/20.

Beautiful
Peaceful, relaxing & tranquil. Our stay was all of these. The gite is very clean and has everything that you need for your stay. The setting is just amazing. Claire & Gary we’re wonderful hosts, very informative and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back.

About the neighbourhood
The Lot et Garonne has so much to offer, the undulating countryside, Historic Bastide villages, Chateau’s, vineyards and not forgetting all the local markets and during peak times the nocturnal markets with great food and entertainment. There’s so much wildlife here from the many different birds of prey to deer, wild boar, genets, snakes and so many more.
Getting around
The best way around is by car or motorcycle if you want to discover more than just our local area, however, we have a couple of bikes here if you simply want a leisurely and enjoyable ride around the nearby villages.

How to get there
We are located just 35 mins from Bergerac airport and 1.40 hrs from Bordeaux airport.
The easiest way to find us is to look for the Mairie( if you are coming from Cancon it will be on the left) on the other side of the road to this is a restaurant called Relais Des Bastides, there is a a road that runs behind the restaurant which if you take this road will take you to our house. The road will go past a church/ graveyard on the right hand side and you need to stay on the road for about 500m and then you should see a lake on the right hand side, stay on the road for about 1km you then drive through a wooded area , after this you should see two fields with a small track on the left hand side just before a concrete small bridge, this is Grenier.
