3 bedroom apartment in central Briancon 300 metres to the ski lifts Prorel which accesses Serre Chevalier ski resort. Directly parallel to 'Rue Centrale' the apartment is close to bars & restaurants, shops, 2 supermarkets, chemist, swimming pool and the train station. The apartment is bright with balcony sliding doors and mountain views from all bedrooms. There is a wood burner, wooden floors, underfloor heating so you are comfortable for your stay. Bedrooms also have additional wall heaters. Bathrooms have underfloor heating and towel heaters. Apartment Klimt has a large 300l water boiler so lots of hot water. Stayed here with L&C for the last week of their trip. The apartment is probably the best equipped we have ever been in in a ski resort. Enjoyed the town especially the views from the old town.

I spent a week in this spacious apartment as the guest of my sister and brother-in-law, ColinF. It is well situated for the Prorel lift and for the old town. There is a bus-stop close by with frequent buses to the old town. The walk up there is a bit steep after a day's skiing but the return, downhill, is...

Stayed for a week as quest of Colin F, great apartment for groups up to eight people, large lounge/dining area, deck with large table chairs etc. and BBQ. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and a short walk to Prorel lift. Had an excellent week would definitely recommend. Dave D

About the neighbourhood
Nearby there are also swimming pools and a great Ice Hockey team, well worth watching (Les Diables Rouge). The Italian border is only 15 minutes drive away if you want a fantastic Italian experience. If you would like more variety the lift pass allows 1 day's skiing at several other local French or Italian resorts (La Grave, Les Deux Alpes, Montgenevre, Claviere, Sestriere, Puy St Vincent)
Getting around
The ski lift is only a few minutes walk away and Serre Chevalier also offer a Free shuttle bus service with regular trips throughout the day from Briancon to Montgenevre and back.
