About the neighbourhood
Blond, Haute Vienne, is the Monts De Blond. Friendly and welcoming, with a boulangerie/epicerie, French bar/restaurant, Italian restaurant, organic green grocer, craft shop selling hand made hand spun woollen items, a brocante, post office and hairdressers. In springtime bluebells flower on the Mont, followed by Lily of the Valley in May, and foxgloves in June. Along the verge...
Getting around
As this is a predominently rural area, a car is recommended. There are however trains and buses that run into Limoges from the local town of Bellac.
