We stayed here in October 2016. Anne and Dermot were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was lovely and cosy. Lots of useful information was available. We could have easily tried to kidnapped the dogs and cats! Lovely and quiet, but only a few minutes...More

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice small cottage, even with 3 teenagers we weren't in each others way. The owners were friendly and helpful but gave us plenty of space despite living so close by. We would be more than happy to stay again.

About the neighbourhood
Only a short drive away and you can find the family homes of Margaret Thatcher and Sir Isaac Newton (and the apple tree where the apple w said to have fallen). Belvoir Castle is only a cycle ride away (up asleep hill!) which is home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland with fine grounds and grand displays inside the castle. This is also the occasional venue of the CLA Game Fair, Fireworks Display competition and numerous concerts.
How to get there
By road from the East - A52 from Grantham and A1 head West toward Bingham and Nottingham, after 3 miles turn off right into Bottesford (first exit). After 1 mile, pass Red Lion public house, at the village cross turn right down Market Street/Rectory Lane towards Normanton. After 200 yards (over Duck Crossing) with church on right, turn left into Devon Lane. Along Devon Lane to sharp left turn, your destination is in front of you at that corner.
