A idiosyncratic stay, in delightful surroundings with a lovely family
It's not the easiest place to find, because the map on Tripadvisor is wrong and points you somewhere else. But once found it is truly delightful; mine host and hostess are very welcoming and warm, in fact we met the daughter too, who was just the same. Sadly we didn't meet the dogs (I was looking forwards to that). The pool, my wife tells me was a nice temperature. The bedrooms were comfortable, breakfast was really good - the whole thing was excellent. And, literally, only 5 minutes away from the airport.

The family welcome you to their home and are very helpful.
Comprises 2 new wood cabins , each to sleep a couple with shared breakfast area in between . Breakfast is a real treat . The owner fetches fresh bread ,croissant and pastries by 8 am and you serve yourself when ready ....a great set up. Minor criticism is no door to ensuite but we managed OK. Owners kindly offer the use of their pool and sun loungers . Monbazillac is a lovely area with easy access to Bergerac
