We booked our stay based on the photos (43 or so) and reviews that we saw for ‘Apartamentos Jerez-Alameda del Branco’ which were listed and shown in the photos on the booking site as being on a square, with trees and cafes on Plaza del Branco n5.
We read the reviews, which were excellent all of which informed our decision, and they gave a Superb 9.1 rating. Our booking confirmation confirmed that we had booked the apartment at Plaza del Branco.
We received a text of a different address for the apartment after we booked and an email from the apartments to say ‘ According to Booking.com, you have done a reserve at Apartamentos Alameda del Banco, Habitación Doble Comfort, which, for your information, belong to a newly released group of apartments that we own, located right in the heart of the city, in addition to those we already have in Plaza del Banco.’
So in actual fact the apartment we were booking was not at the address we booked or the one shown in...
