Charming 2 bedroom apartment located in one of the first properties built around the Marina in Vilamoura. Located on the 4th floor, it has a nice open view on a nature protected area, and from the terrace a distant view on the sea. It is just a 2 minutes walk from the Marina and its excellent restaurants, cafes and bars, on which I will be happy to give recommendations.The beautiful golden sand beach is only a 10 minutes walk and you have also access to a shared swimming pool accessible to the residents only. The garden around the swimming pool makes it extra special and its small pool makes it perfect to go with small children.

Apartment faces onto a Main Street and there was constant road noise. Very hot as no Aircon and main fan not working. TV aerial also broken . Location and interior good but high price

About the neighbourhood
Vilamoura has one of the biggest and most exclusive marina's in Europe. The choice of restaurants is excellent and the bars and cafés lively and fun.

Vilamoura is well know for its 7 golf courses and beautiful weather all year round. Best period for golfing probably being spring and autumn, but still nice during Christmas time.

And if you enjoy seafood, don't miss out on the daily morning fish market in Quarteira, the small town next to Vilamoura

Airport: Faro: 25.0 km
Vilamoura is just a 20min drive from Faro Airport. Faro airport is serviced from the UK by most budget airlines such as: BMi Baby, Easyjet, Jet2, Monarch and Ryanair.

As the apartment is just a 2 minute walk from the Marina and its restaurants, and is close to 3 supermarkets, you might want to just take a cab from the airport.

There are good bus connections to Albufeira, Loulé, Lagos .... which depart close to the apartment.
You could also get a 3 day deal from a Rental in Vilamoura itself (I can recommend some local companies if needed).
