This new luxury three bedroom, three bathroom modern apartment boasts high quality, tasteful furnishings and is set in the heart of the Silver Coast in a little town called Sao Martinho do Porto.
Baia Residence II offers open plan living, with large sunny windows and an open plan kitchen and is located minutes away from the beautiful Beach front with its calm and tranquil sea and silver sands.
The apartment is first class and fully equipped with a real home from home feel. Remote control air conditioning/heating is included every room with surround sound and an internal vacuum to ensure you are comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen includes quality appliances such as a washing machine, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob.

Peaceful family holiday
I stayed in this apartment for two weeks and was impessed with the standard of the furnishings and quality of the fittings. When looking for somewhere in Sao Martinho do Porto I wanted to be close enough to the beach to have a relaxing holiday but far enough away to ensure I had peace in the evening, this apartment has the perfect location for both. The bay is only a five/ten minute walk away and there is a lovely market with fruit and vegetables and the most amazing fresh olives just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. If you want a peaceful family holiday in an unspoilt and beautiful part of Portugal,this is heaven on earth.I would strongly recommend this apartment for family holidays.

Luxury Accommodation in the middle of a true Portuguese Village
We could not fault this apartment on any level, its was absolutely fabulous. The apartment is total luxury and is equipped with everything you will need from every kind of pot or pan to beach towels and a windbreaker. Its decorated to a very high standard and is so light and very spacious. There are 4 balconies, a large one from the kitchen/lounge, and one from every bedroom which are fantastic for al fresco dining and also drying your laundry. The bedrooms are fantastic one double bed and two twins, two of the bedrooms are en suite including bath and shower. There is also a bathroom in the main living area with toilet and large walk in shower. There is a gorgeous roof terrace ideal for sunbathing. The swimming pool is excellent with sun loungers for you to relax and enjoy the gorgeous portuguese climate. There is a lounge/games area located beside the swimming pool with a table tennis table (bats not supplied but can be bought at chinese supermarket next to beach 3 euros). The apartment is situated in an ideal location only minutes walk to the large supermarket where the prices are very reasonable (out of apartment block at the bottom of road turn left). The fresh fruit and veg market was a gem to find where local traders have all kinds of produce including fish, gorgeous olives and delicious fruit and vegetables. We were buying a bag everyday for as little as 2 Euros, (out of apartment block at the bottom of road turn right past fire station at the junction turn left and its on your right) only open until around 1 daily. The centre where the restaurants and beach is, is approx 7 minutes walk. There is a fantastic promenade around the bay in the shape of a horse shoe, ideal for a stroll after a delightful meal. Only a couple of tips but Veronica has a file in apartment which tells you everything you need to know. Sao Martinho do Porto is a superb, beautiful piece of true Portugal. We totally fell in love with this small fishing village. Its so peaceful and tranquil we had a wonderful time here and would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Highly recommended
I can't really add any more that is detailed in the other reviews really. Suffice to say that the apartment is beautifully presented and has everything you could need from a holiday base. It's clear that this is the owner's second home and the standard of the apartment reflects this. Both Veronica and Ana (who met us) were both extremely helpful and we can't thank them enough for a lovely stay.

Excellent accomodation in a perfect location
Previous reviews of this apartment were very complimentary and we can add our review to those!! We arrived at the apartment after a long, tiring journey late in the evening. Ana met us and guided us to the apartment and she was so helpful and welcoming. It was a joy to walk in to such clean, spotless, beautifully furnished accommodation.As it was late Ana left us to settle in but gave us a contact number should we have any questions. It was very reassuring to know that her support was there if we needed it.
We loved the apartment and the location was perfect. Just a few minutes walk to the Intermarche which is well stocked. The restaurants and beach are all close and it is a peaceful area to stay in.Our teenage children enjoyed the table tennis in the common room downstairs which has a Wi-fi connection and also leads out to the pool & terrace. The pool is much bigger than it looks on the photos & there is a large terrace with sun loungers. We actually didn't use the pool as we spent every day at the beach and couldn't fit it in!!
The resort is lovely with something for all ages. We would love to return for another holiday & would definitely re-book this apartment. Veronica is attentive to the details and is keen to know that guests are comfortable and welcomes any feedback.Thank you both!!

We would highly recommend this accommodation and location to all.
We arrived late(midnight ) due to flight delays however after calling Teresa who manages the property for the owner she said it was not a problem and she would wait for us and with the directions we had too massively helped us find our destination from Lisbon airport where by Teresa had also purchased us some pre ordered groceries so the kids and us could all have a refreshment after our long journey.
The accommodation is very new and has all the facilities required inclu 3 bathrooms!Ideal has 6 of us.
Excellent swimming pool which the kids loved and only 5 min walk to beautiful beach!
We will definitely be coming back soon!!

Appartement génial
Très bon appartement, bien situé, résidence agréable, piscine top. Les commodités ( marché municipal, pain et le supermarché) sont à cinq minutes a pieds pas besoin de voiture appréciable en vacances.

The conveniences (municipal market, bread and supermarket) are five minutes walk away no appreciable car needed on vacation. To advice ."
I am so glad you enjoyed our apartment and the pool and the local amenities. We recommend a hire car for travel from and to the airport and sight seeing to neighbouring towns and beaches. This is based on our own experience and feedback from our guests. For anyone not wanting to leave Sao Marthino Do Porto, then a hire car may not be necessary.

About the neighbourhood
Sao Martinho do Porto is a small traditional Portuguese fishing town located around a spectacular natural bay, known as "Concha" by the locals due to its shell like appearance. It is also surrounded by a vast sweeping beach which curls all the way around the bay. This forms a naturally sheltered swimming area and is one of the best places to bathe with its calm, shallow and sun warmed water making it ideal for families.<BR><BR>The village has maintained its marvellous character and much of the older historic parts still have cobbled streets. You will also find a frequent fish and fresh vegetables market and a monthly open air antiques fair. There are many bars, coffee houses and marvellous restaurants to explore, catering for every taste.<BR><BR>The area is still very much un-spoilt and traditional, and you could be one of the select few to discover the natural beauty and charm of the real Portugal. From here you can catch a boat to the Berlengas Islands - a nature reserve.<BR><BR>Lisbon is 80km.<BR><BR>The UNESCO world heritage site Sintra with 2 palaces is 90km.<BR><BR>The Gothic city Santarém and the museum house of Alpiarça is 70km<BR><BR>The palace, the church and the convent of Mafra is 90km.<BR><BR>Also visit the basilica and the convent of Batalha from the 14th century. The pilgrimage destination Fátima (50km), the castles of Leiria and Porto do Mos. The university city Coïmbra (100km), the convent of the tempeliers in Tomar, etc..
Getting around
São Martinho do Porto has a train station and there are bus links to neighbouring towns. A hire car is recommended if you would like to travel to neighbouring towns for sight seeing as it gives you the freedom to go at your own pace.
