Ideally situated, in the very centre of the main holiday resort of Gran Canaria, the villa is situated a short walk from the sand dunes and the long beautiful Maspalomas beach - near the Faro lighthouse and the cafes and shops of Melonares. It is an exclusive upmarket hacienda style villa in a quiet upmarket area with all mod cons - stereo/DVD/WiFI and a satellite TV with all the main English channels - BBC1,2,3,ITV 1,2 Ch 4 etc - set in a beautiful and very private sun drenched garden with its own solar heated swimming pool sized 5m x 3.5 metres as well as a larger and rarely used shared pool - 14m x 8m . Well appointed villa ideal for the 6 of us

This villa has everything that you could need. Quite residential area but easy access to both Maspalomas & Playa del Ingles this is a very good villa. Plenty of space for the 6 of us clean and comfortable. Very helpful owner and local support contact.

About the neighbourhood
Maspalomas is at the heart of the holiday resort of the South of Gran Canaria, and yet remains a beautiful palm tree lined quiet residential area with a Beverley Hills feel and a staggering view of the nearby mountains. It is secluded and very close to the long sand dune lined beaches, the 5 star hotels of Melonares, Holiday World fairground, Aqualand, Perla Canaria, Palmitos Park, Go Karting and Sioux City western Theme Park, Camel safaris and many other attractions. There are many restaurants (of all complexions) and the non stop boisterous nightlife which runs till dawn and can suit all tastes in the Yumbo, Kasbah and Cita Centres in Playa del Ingles.
Getting around
It is not necessary to rent a car when you stay at Villa Paraiso since it is close to all necessary amenities such as restaurants, supermarkets and beaches. Many of the main holiday attractions such as the Maspalomas beach and sand-dunes as well as the Holiday World Fairground and the Melonares promenade are within easy walking distance. However car rental is very cheap on the island and there is plenty of car parking space at the front of the villa. There is also a taxi rank a couple of minutes’ walk from the villa, and cabs will collect you from outside the house usually within about 2/3 minutes if you telephone for them. They are very cheap. In addition bus stops for all parts of the island are also very close by.
