The house is in the most peaceful, beautiful location - my words do not do it justice. The owners were friendly and helpful, the house clean and well kitted out with all the bits and pieces you need for self catering. I have stayed on Harris and Lewis several times and this property is the best one yet. I did not want to leave.

Amazing
Spent a week on Harris at Mol Ban in July and can’t wait to go back.
Harris is such a magical place and far exceeded our expectations.
The accommodation is first class and so well equipped and comfortable. It has everything you could ever need for your time there. The cottage has to be on one of the best locations on Harris - you could sit all day in the window watching the seals play in the bay and the little sail boats and fishing boats going past. We were also lucky enough to see some golden eagles.
The beaches are absolutely stunning and every corner you turn there is another amazing view 🤩
The little cake huts are amazing and the quality of the produce is first class.

We were wowed
We had the holiday of a lifetime in a perfect setting.
Peace and tranquillity in spades.
Beverly and Angus have thought of everything for our comfort and convenience. We loved the delicious shortbread thank you. Mol Ban stands in a spectacular position with unrivalled views. Just sitting looking out of the windows was a treat in itself. Perfect

Wonderful location to enjoy the beauty of Harris
We first came to Mol Ban in 2018 and had a fabulous time. We were due to come in 2020 but due to you know what the visit was rescheduled until this year.
What hasn't changed is the view looking across the bay. Whether it is a lovely sunny day or torrential rain with a howling gale and everything between you can sit entranced on the couch or at the dining table watching the wild life and the fab views. This time we saw an otter seals including a pup , golden eagle and sea eagles.
You can get there via the road to Leverburgh past all the glorious beaches and through Rodel or you can come via the Golden Road. Both ways have striking views.
Mol Ban is very comfortable and has everything you need for a great holiday in Harris. The kitchen has been upgraded since our previous visit. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
While we were there we booked for next year. I can't give a better recommendation than that.
Thank you Beverley.

Perfect
Mol Ban was perfect in almost every way. It was our 4th visit to the Isle of Harris and on all previous vists we stayed near Luskentyre which at the time we thought we couldn't get a better location. However, we found Mol Ban which was away from the beaches. It was the ideal location for us as it was secluded and it sat looking onto its own bay where you can watch lots of wild life. Total relaxation. There are many beautiful beaches very closeby so we made sure we visited different beaches throught the week (also managed to go swimming in the sea).
We were extremely lucky with the weather. Most days we would come back mid afternoon and relax at the cottage on the beautiful deck before going out for dinner.
The cottage itself has everything you need. Sometimes the midges got a bit much, however we moved inside and still had the beautiful views onto the bay.
Next time we visit Harris, we will definitely stay at Mol Ban, hopefully it won't be too long. It was just perfect for us.

Beautiful house with stunning views and amazing wildlife
Our 3rd stay at Mol Ban, the house is so comfortable and has everything you could need for your holiday, always freshly made shortbread to welcome your arrival.
The views from Mol Ban are stunning and we were very lucky to see the otter in the bay feeding for over half an hour, a golden eagle landed on the grassy bank just over the bay and pods of dolphins were spotted swimming past the entrance to the bay, amazing. Always fun to watch the antics of the resident seals in the bay in front of the house.
When we arrived on Harris the weather was absolutely amazing which showed off the island to its stunning self, the colours were out of this world.
We will definitely be back x

Mol Ban
This was our second stay in Mol Ban - we loved it so much the first time that We booked it again straight away after our visit!
The house is wonderfully located, with the best views one can imagine. It’s a modern accommodation, fully equipped, very warm and beautifully decorated. During our stay, we saw seals, otters, herons and eagles.
We would fully recommend it to anyone wishing to spend a cosy, comfortable week in a superb location!

Absolutely WOW
Great location on the very beautiful Isle of Harris. Our high point has to be the view from the house onto Lingerbay! We sat for hours just watching the tidal movements.
A feeding otter, playful seals and herons being attacked by gulls were witnessed during our stay.
The cottage is well equipped for everybody's needs and is heated by a Nibe 360 !
The cottage has a septic tank so be careful about what goes down the loo.
