Peaceful, tranquil East End getaway located between Calabash Bight and Fiddlers Bight, with unspoiled diving minutes away. Calabash is located on the Island of Roatan, in the Bay Islands, 30 miles off the coast of Honduras. Calabash is on the South shore of East End 40 minutes from the Coxen Hole Airport (RTB). Locals are very friendly and speak English and Spanish.
The island style house/cabin includes a private pool, 3 bedrooms plus a large loft, large kitchen and dining area, internet, cable, fans, ocean breezes, 300-degree bay and oceans views, and sits about 100 ft. above the water. How to get there
The home is best reached by parking in Oakridge and having our boat take you to the property. The road to the home gets very muddy during the wet season (Oct-April). We hopefully will get that fixed this summer. The large grocery store, Eldons, is in French Harbor about 30 minutes away, but there are several convenience stores in Oakridge where most items can also be found. We usually pick up a large amount of groceries on our way to the house from the airport.
We do not have a sandy beach on the property, but there are several close by that can be accessed by a boat. By car there are several resort type beaches 20 minutes away. West Bay is at the opposite end of the island and can take 60-90 minutes to get to depending on traf
