Soddisfacente e spazioso appartamento...
Atmosfera vintage negli arredi con un simpatico frigorifero d'epoca davvero una chicca per gli amanti degli oggetti vintage...vista meravigliosa sul tramonto...molto arioso...grandi le stanze, dotato di lavatrice... ampio balcone... doccia... piccola cucina, ma ben fornita di suppellettili... stoviglieria... letti molto comodi...
Direi un soggiorno soddisfacente...forse da curare e migliorare un po' la comunicazione con gli ospiti (si e' aspettati un po' troppo per la consegna delle chiavi dopo un viaggio di piu' di 8 ore si era parecchio stanchi...) e poi il televisore...che capisco mantenere un tono vintage...ma io ci metterei un bel Samsung senza tanti fili e decoder di mezzo.All'interno nello spazio soggiorno, molto utili, troverete dei deplinat turistici sulla zona di Irsina e dintorni.
-Appartamento: ottimo
-Vista: Meravigliosa
-Rapporto qualita'/prezzo: nella media.
-Qualita' del sonno: ottima(a parte una pittoresca vicina che gridava abbastanza di frequente, ma li non dipende da coloro che ci hanno affittato la casa...ma dall' educazione del vicinato).
-Parcheggi: non ho mai avuto difficolta' a trovarne (a Irsina non ci sono parcheggi a pagamento)quindi buono, nonostante il primo giorno il vicino di sotto dopo che avevamo aspettato per piu' di mezzora le chiavi per scaricare poi i bagagli sia subito venuto a dirci di spostare la macchina...perche' eravamo davanti a casa sua...(ma misteriosamente nei giorni seguenti...abbiamo visto altri veicoli lasciati in sosta nello stesso punto senza che nessuno dicesse nulla...ma forse essendo abitanti del posto si conoscevano).
Piccoli particolari a parte soggiorno molto piacevole.

Full of character in a perfect location
This is a spacious, comfortable apartment in the older part of this lovely hill-top town with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The attractive period furnishings add to the character, and the modern bathroom is bright, clean and well-equipped. Maybe a little more kitchen equipment would be useful, but there is a great choice of small restaurants nearby as well as grocers and bakers.
Guests with mobility issues might find the steep steps up to the apartment difficult, though they weren't a problem for us (fit 60-pluses).
We would recommend the small Spar supermarket at the northern end of the town as a place to buy the excellent local wines; and it is well worth heeding Francesco's recommendation and using the fast northern route in and out of Irsina.
Overall, we would highly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a taste of the real, unspoilt Italy. Just don't expect to get to any of the nearby hill-towns in a hurry!

relax e accoglienza vintage
Siamo stati accolti con calore e cortesia dalla padrona di casa, che ci ha accompagnato per le strette viuzze del centro storico di Irsina sino al bellissimo e spazioso appartamento ricavato dall'antica casa di famiglia. L'arredamento vintage e la struttura muraria ci hanno fatto fare un piacevole tuffo nel passato! Il relax è stato totale e la vista dal balcone di casa era bellissima.
Oltretutto a pochi metri è presente una panetteria che la mattina sforna cornetti enormi (che possono essere farciti al momento) e focacce strepitose: per cui la colazione e l'eventuale pranzo al sacco sono assicurati e buonissimi...

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is few meters away from monuments and churches of higher interest: the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, the sculpture of Sant'Eufemia by Andrea Mantegna, the church of San Francesco, the church of Purgatorio and the Janora Museum.
Irsina is one of the oldest city of Basilicata in the South of Italy, it dominates the Bradano Valley and its territory hosts the wood of Verrutoli.
The city is 40 km away from Matera, few km from Altamura and Gravina in Puglia, and it is easily reachable from Bari airport.
